Dragonball Evolution is a 2009 American action-adventure film based on the Dragon Ball franchise. The film's story centers on the adventures of Goku, a young martial artist who discovers his destiny as a "Saiyan" and sets out to find the seven mystical orbs known as the Dragon Balls. Along the way, he must battle various villains who also seek the Dragon Balls for their own evil purposes.

January Jones of "Madmen" fame plays Emma Frost, villainesse supreme, co-conspirator with Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, criminal mastermind. More notably, Jennifer Lawrence—yes that Jennifer Lawrence, low-keyed "It Girl" from Winter's Bone and the Oscars' red carpet—plays Mystique, aka Raven Darkholme, shape-shifting mutant. By film's end, girl power may trump super-powers.

Life on the forth planet from the sun, known as Mars, is adventurous to say the least. John Carter is an epic hero from novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, one of the most beloved and prolific writers of the 20th Century. This movie version has John Carter being transported to what is called Barsoom or Mars and entering conflicts between the planet's nations. There he encounters leaders Tars Tarkas as well as Princess Dejah Thoris as he attempts to save the people of Barsoom. Based on the novel titled A Princess of Mars, John Carter was first published as a serial in magazines back in 1912 before becoming a novel. The lead character, Carter, is a veteran of the Civil War in America and while on Mars he encounters huge green barbarians who are twelve feet tall with six limbs and long dangerous tusks. It is a world that is difficult to survive in and Carter must fight his way back home again if he can.aylor Kitsch of the TV series Friday Night Lights stars as John Carter, Willem Dafoe (Daybreakers, Spider-Man 3) is Tars Tarkas, and Princess Dejah Thoris is played by Lynn Collins (True Blood, Haunted).

Written by John Landis and his son, Max, Chronicle takes the audience on a rollercoaster ride of adventure as we watch three teenaged boys who learn they are developing superpowers after exposure to some mysterious substances while walking through the woods nearby their homes. Typical of many teenagers these boys find they have a rather dark side to their personalities when their strange and powerful new capabilities become increasingly strong. They each must decide how best to handle their powers and while impressive, they can also be dangerous to themselves and others. ohn Landis is well known as director of such fun and entertaining movies as Animal House and American Werewolf in London and now teams up with his son, Max to come up with this delightful film. Shot in a pretend documentary style, and using hand held cameras (think Blair Witch Project), Chronicle is entertaining and enlightening.tars Michael B. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie was released in 2010, the year of "Ironman 2," "Harry Potter 7", and "Tron: Legacy". So, the producers and director of "Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader" clearly felt the pressure to deliver a visual masterpiece. Capitalizing on the special alchemy of 3D, they succeeded. "A painting engulfs Lucy and Edmund Pevensie and their cousin Eustace, taking them back to Narnia and stowing them away on sailing ship The Dawn Treader. The brave and somewhat precocious warriors battle a fierce collection of monsters and villains, resisting their own powerful temptations, as they join forces with Reepicheep, a warrior mouse, to save Narnia. The computer animators do so well with the Lion, the Mouse, and the fairy princess, viewers willingly suspend disbelief. Of course, a mouse can out-maneuver a chimera."The producers and director paid proper respect to C.S. Lewis, early twentieth century author and scholar, who penned the novel The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as one among his Chronicles of Narnia. Lewis, a leading authority on medieval quest romance, crafted his story according to the traditions and conventions of the hero's quest, and the movie wisely recreates his craftsmanship. The film-makers achieve an unlikely hybrid of medieval story and twenty-first century imagery. They left open the question, however: Would audiences overdosed on 3D graphics and epic adventures fill the seats for another one?

But how it is connected with Looper, the movie filmed by Rian Johnson in 2012? The answer is: very straight. In not-so-near future, in the year 2042, a mob hitman makes money by successfully assassinating human targets arriving from more distant future. Everything goes smoothly before he receives the new target: himself arriving from 2072… Now you understand why we had to begin with "Time Paradox". However, such a twisted storyline is only one crucial driving force of Looper. The brilliant cast is the second. A mob killer, Joe, is portrayed by two actors, and each of them is a big name in Hollywood scoreboard. The younger version of Joe is represented by Joseph Gordon-Levitt while the older one is played by Bruce Willis. If such a star cast, picturing one only character is not enough for you, we are glad to let you know about other names: Emily Blunt (The Adjustment Bureau, Young Victoria) Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs , Ashes, Carriers ) and Paul Dano (Being Flynn, Cowboys & Aliens).
