This intriguing movie is based on factual events that occurred in a post war Bosnia in which any thing goes. Rachel Weisz (The Lovely Bones, The Brothers Bloom) stars as Kathryn Bolkovac, an American officer of the law who decides to help out by becoming a peacemaker in a war torn Bosnia. What she discovers is a underground world of corruption and a blossoming sex trade involving children and adults. Live humans are valuable and are sold to the highest bidders. Plenty of intrigue, corruption, and diplomatic cover-ups linked to the UN and also some (U.S. military) contractors. Bolkovac is put to the ultimate test as she tries to help in the rebuilding of this devastated area and comes up with far bigger problems than she could have imagined. This time around there are two young lawyers who care enough to pursue it to a settlement even though it stretches their law firms business to near collapse. This even takes on international proportions because of the millions who die each year in Africa due to faulty syringes.

They had planned on her marrying into wealth and comfort with Henry (Max Irons) but she defies them. "When Valerie's sister is killed by the werewolf the town asks a famous "werewolf hunter" (Oldman) in to destroy the monster they've feared for decades. How can this beast be found when it takes on human form in daylight and could be among them at any time? Now the death toll will rise with each passing full moon."

Mother and Child movie features some mystical idea that everything in our life is connected just too poorly compatible with the prosaic realities of our atomized society. Its more easy to explain the desire of screenplay writer to complete its puzzle plot that analyze the behavior of the characters as the normal human motivations. The presence of stars is only partially redeems shoals of unfinished script, but Watts, who got completely unemotional role of women who throw themselves on every man in sight, once again confirms her rare talent to play a strong blonde in distress. It is thanks to her play, the movie which strives to fly into space on the wings of its own pathos, continues to rely on the land… at least with the little finger of one leg.

It showcases lots of funny moments (just imagine facial expression of Royals, when Margaret announces hot dogs as main dish of the lunch), misapprehensions at the edge of fouls and lots of other objectionable situations FDR and Margaret masterly get out from. The right chemistry between the perfectly selected actors and actress make this movie definitely delicious and easy to watch. Franklin D. Roosevelt is portrayed by Bill Murray. Laura Linney plays Margaret Suckley while Olivia Williams plays Eleanor Roosevelt, FRD's wife. The Royal couple is played by Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth and Samuel West as King George VI.
