"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is a classic film that tells the story of Randle McMurphy, a rebellious inmate who fakes insanity to avoid prison and ends up in a mental institution. Choreography, writing, acting, attitude, and some knowledge of the martial arts can make for an entertaining movie such as we find in the 2011 release of Warrior. Most "sports" related movies are too predictable and technical to make them entertaining enough to please a wide audience but this one covers nearly all the bases to make it a family oriented film. Even the addition of Nick Nolte as the father of a young man training for a mixed martial arts competitive tournament brings plenty of pathos and family values to the film. Nolte is a former boxer and an alcoholic whose two sons, played by Tom Hardy (Tom Conlon) and Joel Edgerton (playing Brendan Conlon) decide to become professional mixed martial arts fighters and ultimately compete against each other. Nolte (as Paddy Conlon) has his hands full with his own demons but tries to be of help for the sake of family ties. Also starring Jennifer Morrison (playing Tess Conlon), William Mapother (David Milligan), and Kurt Angle (as Koba) Warrior is filled with action and great fight sequences.

The young Bud Fox is a broker engaged in small stock exchange transactions. He belongs to a generation of "yuppie" - urban youth, with the diplomas of prestigious universities, pragmatically looking at life and the dream of easy, fast career in the business world. A major banking businessman Gordon Gekko is the ideal for the ambitious Bud. Gekko, made his huge fortune on the dirty machinations and speculations. He is a gangster in of financial market. He does not hesitate to take anything for the sake of profit, as a predatory shark of the business world.

Rabbit Hole movie director John Cameron Mitchell drains away the film's melodrama and pathos by rendering it in "drab, functional, TV-movie naturalism," making it beguiling and terrifying. Through Mitchell's lens, the horrific events and overwhelming emotions seem exceptionally familiar and perfectly ordinary. Rabbit Hole terrifies everyday Cineplex audiences, forcing them to recognize just how easily they might become Becca and Howie.

A Streetcar Named Desire is a 1951 film adaptation of Tennessee Williams' play of the same name. Directed by Elia Kazan, the film stars Marlon Brando, Vivien Leigh, and Kim Hunter, who all reprised their roles from the Broadway production. Russell who directed the film and wrote the screenplay immerses us in the Pat's mind allowing him to narrate the movie. We follow Pat endeavors to reunite with his ex-wife, despite of her treacherous betrayal. His family trying their best to help him, but situation changes dramatically when Pat meets Tiffany, a mentally depressed girl who agrees him to help with the reunion in exchange of some "contract" Pat agrees to "sign" with her. Step by step Pat understands that his "The Silver Lining", a theory he developed while being in a mental institution, are somehow connected with Tiffany's one. As he realize that fact, it becomes absolutely clear for him that their lives are connected and predetermined now by God's design. The movie pleases us by outstanding cast: Bradley Cooper is Pat Solitano, while Jennifer Lawrence is Tiffany. Pat's father is played by magnificent Robert De Niro and Chris Tucker is Danny.
