Description

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a 2023 animated adventure comedy produced by Illumination in partnership with Nintendo, and distributed by Universal Pictures. Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel, the film brings Nintendo's most famous characters to the big screen in their first major theatrical outing since the widely panned 1993 live-action attempt.

Chris Pratt voices Mario, a Brooklyn plumber who is sucked through a mysterious warp pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom alongside his brother Luigi (Charlie Day). Separated on arrival, Mario teams up with Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Toad (Keegan-Michael Key) to rescue Luigi from the tyrannical Bowser (Jack Black), who is hunting a Super Star that would grant him dominion over the entire world.

Released on April 5, 2023, the film became a global phenomenon, grossing over $1.36 billion worldwide and finishing as the second-highest-grossing film of the year behind Barbie. It is the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time and the highest-grossing animated film released since 2019, effectively resetting Hollywood's relationship with game licensing.

This is absolutely amazing. So if there is still someone else who is able to film it again it is necessary to make it in 3D to collect at least some cash. Action is taken in the best traditions of the genre. History is absolutely competent, not far-fetched. All genre standards are met, and it does not seem secondary. This is absolutely original, beautiful movie, which you can watch without knowing the history of the first "Predator". Although, it features many references to the first "Predator": A Memoir of Guatemala, the skull "outsiders" are present in the parking lot of hunters of prey. Movie definitely made with love to its roots and to the genre as well.

The fact that appeals to the classic Disney animated film "Fantasia", The Sorcerer's Apprentice" movie was a success, making it hardly unexpected blockbuster the 2010 summer. This school friend of Nicolas Cage commemorates in connection with "National Treasure", and in the new movie he has done almost all the same, minus the injections a few stupid conspiracy patriotism doses. In "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" he not only made the reliability of the tale, but also led to believe in the magical origins of Nicolas Cage, in recent years the losses, on the contrary, the tragic mediocrity. And finally, we believe, neon signs have never seemed so magical thing, like after watching this, probably the best children's film of the 2010 year.

Peeta is played by Josh Hutcherson (RV, The Kids Are All Right). Look for Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, Lenny Kravitz, and Donald Sutherland also in The Hunger Games.
