The story takes place in Pripyat` (Ukraine) – the ghost town, deserted and abandoned 25 years ago due to horrible Chernobyl Disaster. In pursuit of greater thrill a group of young people comes to this dead city starred by Jesse McCartney (Young Justice and CSI TV series), Jonathan Sadowski ($ # *! My Dad Says and American Dream TV series), Olivia Dudley (CSI and NCIS) and Nathan Phillips (Summer Coda and Quit). At first it seems that the city is inhabited, but the first doubts about it no one leaves the characters of the movie right next to notice of something that looks like a human being in the window of one of the faceless dilapidated apartment buildings. Since then, their adventure turns into the real Fallout, at best, and the worst sense of this epic game. And the Bradley Parker has once again gets the laurels of the winner - the creator of the really scary movie.

One thing those involved agreed upon was they did not want to simply remake a great spooky classic like 1982's The Thing by John Carpenter or even its predecessor The Thing From Another World from 1951. We don't need to remake classics like Jaws or The Exorcist and The Thing is another that is better off leaving intact as it was so perfectly done initially. But this is more a prequel and as such does not step on the original. This story involves the same characters but with a somewhat different timeline and plot because these are the same ones already dead when the original movie began. Now we learn their side of the rather spooky story about the wolf like apparition that consumes its prey then assumes their identity completely.tarring Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Live Free or Die Hard, Make it Happen) as Kate Lloyd, a paleontologist who joins up with the Norwegian team of scientists who happened to stumble upon an extraterrestrial space ship that's crash landed in Antarctica. The pilot, Carter, who is played by Joel Edgerton from Separation City, Smokin' Aces teams with the crew to stop the alien creature that assumes the form of anything it eats and then becomes them to fool humans and take over. This is what "could have happened" if the 1982 version took another path and one of the best non-remakes to come along in a while.

Although, Lindsey Lohan was initially promoted for this role, finally Moretz was confirmed by director Kimberly Peirce. Chloe's mother Margaret White is played by Julianne Moore an Emme-awarded actress whose filmography includes but not limited by such masterpieces as Chloe, The Kids Are All Right, A Single Man, Shelter and Next. As for the plot, Peirce's Carrie is loosely built on the novel storyline with some exceptions which caused King's sarcastic remark "The real question is why, when the original was so good?" Carrie White is a lonesome, shy girl living in suburban house with her religious mother Margaret. Chloe's only friend Sue Snell (persuasively depicted by gorgeous Gabriella Wilde) decides to help Chloe to override her lone status by asking a local dreamboat, Tommy Ross (Sue's boyfriend, by the way) to invite Carrie to prom. Unfortunate prank turns out to be a catastrophic disaster for all those present at prom and for the entire town when Carrie unleashes her powers in devastating act of desperation.

"The Ring Two" is a 2005 supernatural horror film directed by Hideo Nakata. The dread scenes is so frightening amplified by 3D CGI that even most stupid screenplay will be graciously accepted for sake of opportunity to experience the preterhuman Angst.
