After it wrapped in November, 2009, Season of the Witch, an old-school horror movie starring Nicholas Cage and Ron Perlman, went into a strange suspended animation. In November, 2010, the studio finally distributed a trailer with very little fanfare, and setting a release date in mid-January, 2011. Cinephiles with exquisite powers of observation detected changes in the credits for key production roles, expressing their concern about the project's integrity. The pre-release buzz registered only lukewarm, and a few long-time fans used the unfortunate phrase "paycheck movie" to describe Cage's efforts."Reminiscent of Beowolf with more horror and gore, the story draws admirably from all the traditions of medieval storytelling, ultimately pitting the two courageous crusaders against a dark force that threatens to rule the world."Returning from the Crusades, a noble night finds his homeland ravaged by the black plague. "Destroy All Monsters" is a 1968 Japanese science fiction movie directed by Ishirō Honda. It was produced and distributed by Toho Studios, the company behind many kaiju films, including the "Godzilla" series. In the film, an alien race known as the Kilaaks takes control of Earth's monsters, including Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, and forces them to attack cities around the world. It's up to a team of human scientists to discover the Kilaaks' base and put an end to their invasion.

While the beauty of Ontario Canada has been used for much of the footage of Dream House, it is an American film of the horror genre and set in a quaint but fictitious town in New England. Publisher Will Atenton (played by Daniel Craig of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace) along with wife Libby (Rachel Weisz from The Lovely Bones, The Brothers Bloom) find their perfect Dream House was the scene of a horrific murder of a mother and children supposedly at the hands of the husband/father. Naomi Watts (21 Grams, Mulholland Dr.) also stars as Ann Patterson, a neighbor who may be able to provide clues to the deaths.riters, cast, and crew seem to love taking a peaceful community setting and making it the unsettling scene for murder and mayhem just to keep us, the audience, on the edge of our seats for two hours or so. It sells plenty of tickets and it works!"

Ariel Schulman is returning to direct the fourth sequel in line of Paranormal Activity movies. Filmed in 2012 for pennies (as always) Paranormal Activity 4 features the same actors in the same roles. Kathryn Newton portrays Alice while Katie Featherston plays Katie. A little boy named Robbie is played by Brady Allen (remember the kid from The Middle?) and Matt Shively (the voice of Sky from Winx Club franchise) stars as Alex. The story of Paranormal Activity 4 is quite predictable, and hinted from the previous movies. It follows the mystery of family disappeared in 2006 which, a story recorded by numerous of cameras installed all over the house, where, now, the other family must go thru their horror drama, and we have a chance to watch every frightening moment documented by both IP cameras and Skype videos. As it may be concluded the movie style and way of filming are not the subjects to change from one sequel to another, and there is a quite obvious and very pragmatic explanation of this fact; this is the one and only working business model the allows Paramount Pictures to keep churning out hundreds of millions dollars out of every low budget Paranormal Activity until the wheels fall off.

Few of us know Scott Charles Stewart as a man standing behind the visual effects of such the great movies of last decade: Red Cliff, Iron Man and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Live Free or Die Hard. In 2009 he debuted as director of horror movie Legion followed by awesome directorial work on action-horror film Priest in 2011. Dark Skies (2013) his forth directorial project and definitely most ambiguous one. The movie follows Barret family. They are quiet and inoffensive people living their insulated and isolated lives among suspicious neighbors in small American town. That's why they are left one-on-one with imminent threat. Gorgeous hottie Keri Russel (Austenland, Goats, Extraordinary Measures) is playing the main character in Dark Skies (2013) while Dakota Goyo (Noah, Real Steel, Thor) is playing her young brother, Jesse.

"Deep Blue Sea" is a 1999 American science fiction movie about a group of scientists who are experimenting on sharks in an effort to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease. The movie takes place on an isolated research facility in the middle of the ocean where the genetically engineered sharks become intelligent and begin to attack the scientists. The plot follows the survivors' attempts to escape the facility and the sharks.
