Undoubtfully, cinematography has been my passion since a very young age. Even now, watching a new movie or series always prompts me to ask a lot of questions to the author. Thus, every little essay about a title is definitely not a spoiler, but rather an attempt to explore the idea.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Forgetting Sarah Marshall devoted to trendy once upon a time MTV series about hard to forget a person you fall in love with. The process of forgetting will be shown with all the consequences: a rebuke for wearing sweat pants, an alcohol as an analgesic, men's heart-rending sobs and the fact that the hero, lounging in his sweat pants on the couch, the least expected such a turn of events. Nicholas Stoller came close to reality, losing at the time of X to drop this reality to hell and give the audience what he wants - a catharsis, which is in a comedy is a pure bliss.

Dear John

Dear John

The story of the Dear John movie about the brave soldier and the windy girl built in such a way to make the audience especially girls, put their handkerchiefs to the corner of the eye and not only in the finale, but also regularly thru the movie. Sometimes it works quite well, sometimes looks outright false. Oddly, but Amanda Seyfried, who has the best roles in the recent three movie surprises here with inappropriate affectation, and in general much spoils the film. In contrast of Amanda, Channing Tatum, who portrays a very solid character on the one hand, and the typical American soldier, on the other, represents quite live, deeply feeling person, which looks very attracting.

We Live in Time

Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh star in this tender, time-jumping romantic drama about love, loss, and the ordinary moments that define a life together.

TiMER

TiMER

There is no science fiction in "TiMER"; besides the signs of the new era there is only one ill-fated unit on the wrist of heroes… and it is junky. The debut of Jacques Schaeffer, suffers from a strong gender-roll to the left. From the very first minute of every frame of this romantic sci-fi movie it yells: I was filmed by a progressive woman! That, of course, belongs to some resonance with the main message of the picture that advocates quite traditional values like a happy and long marriage.

Letters to Juliet

Letters to Juliet

Letters to Juliet is an unbeatable summer melodrama about the simple fact: love is not a sausage – it has not expiry date. It is a kind of conceptual sequel to "From 13 to 30" of the same Gary Winick. In the film, 13-year-old girl trapped in the body of the Thirty Years' coquette, but here in "Letters to Juliet" it seems, there has been movement in the opposite direction - from 70 to 13. Mature sagacity lady returned to the age of the great dreams of stainless love, which has no expiration date and is happy to wait at least half a century, only to flare up with a new, triple the force. On the other hand, it is nice that the boundaries are shifted. Previously, it was necessary to have the certain courage to say: in 40 years, life has just begun. "Letters to Juliet" cheerfully join it: even in 70 it not ends there… neither directly nor figuratively.
