That means you will never travel back in time and never will kill you grandmother. That's called "Time Paradox" or "Grandfather Paradox". There are lots of theories explicating why the paradox can be avoided. By the way there is quite exotic one: "Can-Not Because Has-Not" that presumes that no one has invented the time machine in the future, because if it'll happen we have had already knew this due to existence of arriving time travelers from the future. But how it is connected with Looper, the movie filmed by Rian Johnson in 2012? The answer is: very straight. In not-so-near future, in the year 2042, a mob hitman makes money by successfully assassinating human targets arriving from more distant future. Everything goes smoothly before he receives the new target: himself arriving from 2072… Now you understand why we had to begin with "Time Paradox". However, such a twisted storyline is only one crucial driving force of Looper. The brilliant cast is the second. A mob killer, Joe, is portrayed by two actors, and each of them is a big name in Hollywood scoreboard. The younger version of Joe is represented by Joseph Gordon-Levitt while the older one is played by Bruce Willis. "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep" is a 2007 fantasy-adventure film directed by Jay Russell and based on a novel by Dick King-Smith. The movie is set in Scotland during World War II and follows the story of a young boy named Angus who discovers a mysterious egg while walking along the beach. The egg hatches into a sea creature that Angus names Crusoe and raises in secret with the help of his sister and a hired hand. However, as Crusoe grows larger and becomes more difficult to keep hidden, Angus and his friends must find a way to release him back into the sea without getting caught by the authorities who are searching for a monster that they believe is a threat to national security.

However, merged into one crazy idea of science fiction of 70's, dozens of conspiracy theories, including human psychology and even his own biography, Richard Kelly still rules.

Maleficent is Disney's 2014 retelling of their classic animated tale—with a twist. In this revisionist fairytale, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) lives an idyllic life in the forest before the human she has fallen in love with betrays her in exchange for a kingdom, cutting off and stealing her wings. As revenge, Maleficent curses the new king's baby daughter, Aurora (Elle Fanning) to prick her finger on a spindle and fall into a death-like sleep on reaching adulthood, only to be woken by true love's kiss. Little does Maleficent realize that Aurora will be nothing like her father, and may be the only hope of restoring peace to their fractured land—and to Maleficent's heart. The film received mixed to positive reviews, with reviewers praising the performance of the two lead actresses as well as the emotional richness in the storytelling.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is the fourth film in the "Resident Evil" franchise. As the previous three movies it was produced by Paul Anderson, who also directed the very first of them: "The Resident Evil". The movie follows Ellis and his group of clones attacking the headquarter of the "Umbrella" corporation, located in a secure underground bunker beneath the streets of Tokyo. They kill all the staff and the security of the complex, but miss Albert Wesker, the chairman of the corporation who escapes and activates system of self-destruction of the underground headquarter in his attempt to destroy all clones of Alice. But real Alice pursues Wesker and tries to kill him in the aircraft. Wesker injects her a drug that neutralizes the T-virus, making Alice a normal person aircraft. Meanwhile aircraft crashes near Tokyo and Alice miraculously survives the fall, but does not detect Wesker…

The Hobbit movie was scheduled to release in 2012 as the first part of epic saga based on J. R. R. Tolkien's book "The Hobbit, or There and Back Again" written in 1937. If the first part of "The Hobbit" movie pictures events described in the original book, the next, second part is planned to serve as a bridge between the Bilbo Baggins' and a group of dwarves' voyage to the Lonely Mountain and the beginning of the first part of Lord of The Rings trilogy. Peter Jackson, director and executive producer of the "Lord of The Rings" films hired Guillermo del Toro to direct filming both of the parts and bring a fresh perspective in the movie plot. "I plan to change and expand the visuals from Peter's, and I know the world can be portrayed in a different way." said del Toro in his interview to Premiere magazine. The acting cast consists of Martin Freeman (as Bilbo Baggins) previously starred in BBC contemporary adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes and Richard Armitage (as Thorin Oakenshield) know as Robert Lovelace in BBC Radio 4's production of "Clarissa: A History of a Young Lady"
