Edward Scissorhands is a 1990 American romantic dark fantasy film directed by Tim Burton. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie was released in 2010, the year of "Ironman 2," "Harry Potter 7", and "Tron: Legacy". So, the producers and director of "Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader" clearly felt the pressure to deliver a visual masterpiece. Capitalizing on the special alchemy of 3D, they succeeded. "A painting engulfs Lucy and Edmund Pevensie and their cousin Eustace, taking them back to Narnia and stowing them away on sailing ship The Dawn Treader. The brave and somewhat precocious warriors battle a fierce collection of monsters and villains, resisting their own powerful temptations, as they join forces with Reepicheep, a warrior mouse, to save Narnia. The computer animators do so well with the Lion, the Mouse, and the fairy princess, viewers willingly suspend disbelief. Of course, a mouse can out-maneuver a chimera."The producers and director paid proper respect to C.S. Lewis, early twentieth century author and scholar, who penned the novel The Voyage of the Dawn Treader as one among his Chronicles of Narnia. Lewis, a leading authority on medieval quest romance, crafted his story according to the traditions and conventions of the hero's quest, and the movie wisely recreates his craftsmanship. The film-makers achieve an unlikely hybrid of medieval story and twenty-first century imagery. They left open the question, however: Would audiences overdosed on 3D graphics and epic adventures fill the seats for another one?

Dune is a science fiction film released in 2021, directed by Denis Villeneuve. The movie is based on the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert and follows the story of Paul Atreides, a young nobleman who becomes embroiled in a power struggle over the planet Arrakis, which is the only known source of a valuable substance called "spice."

Since the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of TRON: Legacy have been big time sellers recently it seems like the future is secure for another sequel. TRON 3, 3-D version that continues on with the story line that began back in 1982, keeps the futuristic concept going while including more of the beautiful Olivia Wilde as the character known as Quorra. That persona was way underused according to many critics in the TRON: Legacy film and needed to be emphasized more. Wilde has become known for her "vamp" style roles, making her Quorra so low key she seemed to sleep through much of the movie and that needs to be livened up a bit.eff Bridges character met his demise in the Legacy film but who knows when he may reappear reincarnated or retrofitted. With emphasis placed on the characters in the story, the movie seemed to work best and that means Bridges needs to be there in some form or another. 3-D will add some visual appeal to the movie but even the original 1982 release had plenty to offer those interested in the visual "lightshow" effect presented in good sci-fi filming.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is a fantasy film released in 2022, directed by David Yates. The film is a sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and is the third instalment in the Fantastic Beasts film series and the eleventh in the Wizarding World franchise. The story is set several years after the events of the previous movie and follows Albus Dumbledore as he assigns Newt Scamander and his allies with a mission to take on dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald and his army. The ensemble cast includes Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Callum Turner, Jessica Williams, Katherine Waterston, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Freida Pinto is Phaedra who is an oracle priestess joining up with Theseus and his quest. She is aided by Stavros, a slave and master thief played by Stephen Dorff (Backbeat, Somewhere) and Older Zeus who is a mentor of Theseus and an earthly manifestation of the god Zeus (played by Oscar winner John Hurt (The Elephant Man, Midnight Express).n excellent cast and top writing make this dramatic mythology film a must see for those who love battle strategy, justice, and wisdom in their movies.
