"Godzilla" is a 2014 American monster film directed by Gareth Edwards. It is a reboot of the Godzilla franchise and the 30th film in the Godzilla franchise. The film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn, and Bryan Cranston. The film follows a soldier and his wife who try to reunite with each other in San Francisco during an attack by Godzilla and other monsters called MUTOs.

I'll be back, he promised in a 1984 sci-fi action movie The Terminator , and we see how California ex-governor keeps his promise: "The Last Stand" features exactly that kind of Arnold Schwarzenegger as we have remembered since the times of The Terminator and Commando. His character Ray Owens is a sheriff in small peaceful town on the USA-Mexican border, reluctantly involved into the last stand of local policemen against the most wanted drug kingpin who just spectacularly escaped from FBI and now heading to the Mexican border in order to slide abroad as soon as possible speeding above 200 Mph on his Corvette ZR1 with a hostage in a tow. But Ray Owens is not just a sheriff, he is the former FBI anti-drug department officer recently retired after some bungled operation (and, what is more important, he is also ex-Terminator as we know). Of course, he could not stand aside, and this is where bloody massacre begins. We'll see Arnold Schwarzenegger with shotgun blowing out enemies brains; we'll see him with monstrous machine gun doing the same, etc. Furthermore, aside of these "special features" we will se definitely brilliant cast of actors: Rodrigo Santoro, Zach Gilford, Genesis Rodriguez, Forest Whitaker, Jaimie Alexander, Eduardo Noriega, Luis Guzmán, Johnny Knoxville – an exciting list, isn't it? However the most serious thing you need to know that this movie is the first American action film directed by Kim Ji-woon, a talented Korean cinematographer, worldwide known for his masterpieces: "The Good, the Bad, the Weird", "A Bittersweet Life" and "I Saw the Devil."

Hunter S. Thompson wrote the book The Rum Diary back in 1961 when he knew very well what the demon rum was all about. Even the screenplay writer/director, Bruce Robinson was familiar with boozing being had sworn off alcohol over six years before but went back to it just to finish the screenplay that writer's block was keeping him from completing. Chenault is played by Amber Heard (Pineapple Express, Zombieland) and is Kemp's obsession as he drinks his days away in Puerto Rico.hat makes a movie about drunks and their ability to consume volumes of fermented sugarcane (rum) interesting? It's about the lost souls that seem to have given up on life and what they leave behind, like lovers, families, and life they're afraid to face. And Thompson's writing makes it all seem to work perhaps because The Rum Diary is about his life...

It should come as no surprise that if something is financially successful it will be repeated. That is especially true with feature films. This is the sequel to the popular Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008) and follows in the filmsteps of some pretty successful movies including the original Journey to the Center of the Earth made back in 1959 and starred James Mason and Pat Boone. As the majority of filming was done in Hawaii look for some spectacular scenery!hen his grandfather goes missing Sean Anderson sets out to find him on a mythical lost island filled with scary monstrous things. Along with him is his mother's husband and a tour guide team. Part of the fun of this film is found in watching faces when the monsters show up! Look to see who actually appears scared out of their wits and who is obviously only hamming it up for cameras.osh Hutcherson (Zathura: A Space Adventure, The Polar Express) plays Sean Anderson, Michael Caine (Hannah and Her Sisters, Cider House Rules) is the sought after grandfather Alexander Anderson, Sean's stepfather Hank Parsons is played by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and as tour guide and a love interest for Sean Vanessa Judgens (Thunderbirds, Beastly) plays Kailani.
