The idea of Machete movie about an assassin, who was screwed by his clients, came to Rodriguez and Tarantino in 90th. But Rodriguez has decided to implement it only after the "Grindhouse" movie in which, as an announcement of future film premieres, was shown the movie trailer "Machete", a non-existent at that time, even as the project. So, Rodriguez called the same Danny Trejo and here it is: the big-nosed Indian kills everybody on his way. During the assassination attempt on Senator, an experienced mercenary Machete found himself at a sniper's gunpoint. Barely escaped death, he learns that he was framed by own employers and is now his goal is to raise a bloody revenge.

Jason Momoa (Ronon Dex of Stargate: Atlantis) is Conan in this updated version of Conan the Barbarian directed by Marcus Nispel (director of Friday the 13th (2009) and Pathfinder)."The 3D aspect enhances the action scenes and there are plenty of them throughout this exciting sword and sorcery film.
