After a Nuclear Apocalypse, the Earth lies in the ruins. Its major territory turned into radioactive desert inhabited by dangerous tribes of mutants. The only "civilized" live could be found in so-called Mega-Cities, where the rest of the humanity tries to survive in massacre fighting with each other for resources, money and drugs. Violent crime wars have achieved their apogee, when the new drug named SLO-MO was invented. This new dope heavily alters reality slowing everything around you in ten times. After taking a doze you can even notice slow motion of particles of smoke vibrating in the fume of your cigar. This happens because your mind and perception accelerates and runs in ten times faster making everything in front of you moving slowly, that's why the stuff was named SLO-MO. The woman standing behind the invention and distributing the drug, Ma-Ma (Lena Headey) is going to take control over the entire Mega-City One making the whole its population addicted to her new invention. In this near the state of war situation, two cops (or how they are called in future, Judges) one veteran Judge Dredd (Karl Urban) and one newbie Judge Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) tries to stop Ma-Ma before her dream to gain the control over the city population will come true. In post-apocalyptic future, where traditional principles of judgment are forceless, Judges are endowed with the power to capture, arrest, judge and execute any criminal they encounter. Sometimes all these actions take no more than a second between arrest and execution.

Live Free or Die Hard is a 2007 action film directed by Len Wiseman and starring Bruce Willis as John McClane, a New York City police detective who finds himself in the middle of a cyber-terrorist attack on the United States. The film is the fourth installment in the Die Hard franchise and takes place several years after the events of the previous films. In Legion movie Scott Stewart started with the Terminator's intro to put action in classic place, a roadside cafe, surrounded with hordes of vile creatures, and finished with the battle of clubs and iron wings. This could be invented only by a person for whom the entertainment is a major part of any movie. Scott Stewart, who created the visual effects for "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Iron Man" and dozens of famous films, has performed the task perfectly well. The only question arise, is it normal when a movie where most of humanity dies, and survivals are continuously referring to the Bible?

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is a 2010 movie directed by Edgar Wright, who showcases not only a picture of the heroes in action, but also the sounds with which these actions are carried out, all the "bang" and "boom", and countless "ah-ah-ah!". Needles to say, that he manages to put everything together in the true style of real Englishman. He divides the frame into two, three, four, and so on often as much parts as he wants. He stuffs each episode with jokes and paints it all the colors, playfully borrowed this trick from "Speed Racer" the Wachowski brothers. It seems that Wright has decided to participate in this game seriously. Therefore, the scoring or the level of vital force, occurring on the screen for each victory, looks completely natural, and the "Scott Pilgrim" is perfectly-designed pattern. His character Ray Owens is a sheriff in small peaceful town on the USA-Mexican border, reluctantly involved into the last stand of local policemen against the most wanted drug kingpin who just spectacularly escaped from FBI and now heading to the Mexican border in order to slide abroad as soon as possible speeding above 200 Mph on his Corvette ZR1 with a hostage in a tow. But Ray Owens is not just a sheriff, he is the former FBI anti-drug department officer recently retired after some bungled operation (and, what is more important, he is also ex-Terminator as we know). Of course, he could not stand aside, and this is where bloody massacre begins. We'll see Arnold Schwarzenegger with shotgun blowing out enemies brains; we'll see him with monstrous machine gun doing the same, etc. Furthermore, aside of these "special features" we will se definitely brilliant cast of actors: Rodrigo Santoro, Zach Gilford, Genesis Rodriguez, Forest Whitaker, Jaimie Alexander, Eduardo Noriega, Luis Guzmán, Johnny Knoxville – an exciting list, isn't it? However the most serious thing you need to know that this movie is the first American action film directed by Kim Ji-woon, a talented Korean cinematographer, worldwide known for his masterpieces: "The Good, the Bad, the Weird", "A Bittersweet Life" and "I Saw the Devil."

The first 3D film directed by the dependable director Martin Scorsese, it is also his first "family" film. Hugo Cabret is about an orphan boy who lives within the walls of a train station in Paris. He has lived there secretly since the loss of his father recently and when he discovers an automaton takes it to a toy shop to find out more about it. The toy shop owner, a cold hearted sullen man, Papa Georges (played by Academy Award Winner Ben Kingsley) and a girl named Isabelle (Chloe Grace Moretz) are along for a wild ride of adventure and intrigue with Hugo. They work together trying to find out how and why Hugo's father has disappeared.
