"Million Dollar Baby" is a 2004 sports drama film directed by Clint Eastwood. The movie tells the story of Maggie Fitzgerald, a determined young woman who aspires to become a professional boxer. William Nicholson has written a screenplay for this musical based upon the Les Misérables aka Les Mis or Les Miz, a 19-th century French theatre musical which was incredibly popular both in the Europe and America. The original source of Les Misérables is Victor Hugo's novel of the same name which was written in 1862. The story of Les Misérables is focusing on the live and fate of ex-convict Jean Valjean and his experience of the redemption. The musical immerses us in the turmoil of the pre- June Rebellion times starting in 1815 and reaching its pivotal point in 1835 with all the well-known consequences. However, let's back to Tom Hooper's adaptation: the brilliant cast is not the everything of this musical drama – you just need to hear the voice of Russell Crowe singing in Les Misérables to understand what a huge hit you faced.

Tom Vaughn's Extraordinary Measures should be considered as noteworthy movie primarily because the fact that it is based on the true story of the family of Dr. Crowley and Stonehill. This drama, about a struggle for the lives of children affected by Pompe disease, where the parents are going through the overflowing emotions, and children calls for sympathy and empathy. But you would not say the same about the film which looks like its filmed clumsy and simple, though Tom Vaughan shoots another comedy with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role, which consists of a set of fragments. If Nicolas Cage was invited, there would be a lump in coming to throat may be in one episode. But here even Fraser is not smiling and still seems to be something to rejoice. Eileen Crowley (Keri Russell) is feeling like it's not her children are sick, even when she worries about them, it all looks like so unnatural. As for Dr. Stonehill (played by Harrison Ford), the acting here is on the high altitude…

The original fairy tale story titled Little Red Riding Hood was a cautionary tale filled with darkness and scary wolves but seemed mild compared to this up-dated version. Produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and with a stellar cast including: Amanda Seyfried (Big Love, Mama Mia), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, Planet 51), Julie Christie (Glorious 39, Finding Neverland) and Billy Burke (Twilight, Fringe). Valerie is our Red Riding Hood who lives in a medieval village where a werewolf stalks its prey. She falls in love with a woodcutter who is beneath her as far as her parents are concerned. They had planned on her marrying into wealth and comfort with Henry (Max Irons) but she defies them. "When Valerie's sister is killed by the werewolf the town asks a famous "werewolf hunter" (Oldman) in to destroy the monster they've feared for decades. How can this beast be found when it takes on human form in daylight and could be among them at any time? Now the death toll will rise with each passing full moon."

Actually the film as translated from a Douglas Kennedy book of the same title works exceedingly well. The Woman in the Fifth stars Ethan Hawke (Brooklyn's Finest, Daybreakers) as the writer Tom Ricks. Ricks moved to Paris to be near his daughter but falls into hard times and needs work to get him by the writer's block he developed. Soon he becomes enraptured by a French beauty by the name of Margit and his life becomes a bit more interesting.o-starring Kristin Scott Thomas (Sarah's Key, The Other Boleyn Girl) as Margit, Joanna Kulig (Time of Honor, Janosik: A True Story) as Ania, Geoffrey Carey (Glenn The Flying Robot, The Actress' Ball) as Laurent, and Delphine Chuillot (Mozart's Sister, Silent Voice) as Nathalie. When Ricks life is turned upside down in Paris, he is helped by a French Arab fellow who gives him a job as a security agent although his passion is writing and making amends with his daughter and estranged wife. Apparently this story's writer, Douglas Kennedy is out to prove it's always darkest before the storm, at least in Paris.

"Behind the Candelabra" is a 2013 biographical drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh and based on the life of renowned pianist Liberace. The movie focuses on Liberace's relationship with his younger lover Scott Thorson, and the ups and downs of their turbulent romance. The film stars Michael Douglas as Liberace, with Matt Damon playing Thorson.
