The original fairy tale story titled Little Red Riding Hood was a cautionary tale filled with darkness and scary wolves but seemed mild compared to this up-dated version. Produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and with a stellar cast including: Amanda Seyfried (Big Love, Mama Mia), Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, Planet 51), Julie Christie (Glorious 39, Finding Neverland) and Billy Burke (Twilight, Fringe). Valerie is our Red Riding Hood who lives in a medieval village where a werewolf stalks its prey. She falls in love with a woodcutter who is beneath her as far as her parents are concerned. They had planned on her marrying into wealth and comfort with Henry (Max Irons) but she defies them. "When Valerie's sister is killed by the werewolf the town asks a famous "werewolf hunter" (Oldman) in to destroy the monster they've feared for decades. How can this beast be found when it takes on human form in daylight and could be among them at any time? Now the death toll will rise with each passing full moon."

Few people know ins and outs of this historical meeting and Roger Michell's movie, Hyde Park on Hudson, unfolds the truth about it. It showcases lots of funny moments (just imagine facial expression of Royals, when Margaret announces hot dogs as main dish of the lunch), misapprehensions at the edge of fouls and lots of other objectionable situations FDR and Margaret masterly get out from. The right chemistry between the perfectly selected actors and actress make this movie definitely delicious and easy to watch. Franklin D. Roosevelt is portrayed by Bill Murray. Laura Linney plays Margaret Suckley while Olivia Williams plays Eleanor Roosevelt, FRD's wife. The Royal couple is played by Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth and Samuel West as King George VI.

But, let's go back the movie itself. Set in the Manhattan and filmed during the one month only, Cosmopolis reveals the inner side of richmen's life of New York city. A 28 years old financial prodigy Eric Packer (Robert Pattison) heads up to his hairdresser in super luxury limo rolling down the Manhattan streets. He can hardly imagine how his next 24 hours will turn out in this cosmopolitical metropolis. He'll cheat his wife. He'll be on the edge of losing his wealth and life. Demián Bichir portrays Carlos the gardener as a 40 year old Mexican national who attempts to capture the better life through a business deal that turns sour as the opportunity is stolen from him, turning his calm life into chaos. He works hard to keep his son away from the influence of gangs and out of the clutches of immigration officials as he tries to eke a living out of his trade in a town expensive to live in.emián Bichir (Weeds, The Runway) as the gardener Carlos has talent to spare and well suited for this role as a determined and caring father who tries to keep his son from the evil found on the streets of LA. José Julián is Luis Riquelme, the young and impressionable son of Carlos who is torn between love for his father and the need to follow his friends. Fine casting and writing make this one to see.
