A dream team within a one movie - Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin -impress with the incredible chemistry between members of this trio. Stand Up Guys director Fisher Stevens climbed into the territory of crime-comedy thrillers about gangsters mocking gangsters. Nonetheless Stand Up Guys is not a spoof of Pulp-Fiction-like movies, it has its own tint, and there is the place for seriousness too. The story begins when Val (impersonated by Al Pacino, a well-known American author gained his fame by his memorable roles in The Devil's Advocate, Heat, Scent of a Woman, The Godfather, Scarface) is being released from "the big house" after serving 28-years sentence. His mate, Doc (played by Christopher Walken, previously starred in A Late Quartet, Seven Psychopaths, Balls of Fury and Man of the Year) is eager to meet him at the walls of the penitentiary. Doc has two reasons for cheery embraces for his old pal. Doc was given a task to kill Vic. The assignment was made by the local kingpin Claphands (played by Mark Margolis: Beneath, Noah, The Courier, Black Swan), who is dreaming about revenge for his son's accidental death accusing Vic for this. Nevertheless, Vic is aware about Doc assignment, and first thing buddies want do to is to visit the local cathouse ( it's a second reason), where the mess begins: alcohol, drugs and Viagra overdose ignites the chain of events buddies can't control.

They finally buy a home in New York but the timing is all wrong when George suddenly finds himself unemployed! The Manhattan couple research ways to survive and examine some alternative living type options when they decide to experiment with an uncommon style of living more reminiscent of the 1960's. They join a commune in Georgia where free love is the rule of the day. his is a comedy directed by David Wain (Children's Hospital as director, Reno 911 as an actor), and explores the modern day hippie community style living the couple find when they spend the night in a B&B hotel with some extra added attractions. The change from their cushy New York lifestyle to living life in the rough makes for a funny and entertaining movie that stars Jennifer Aniston (Friends, The Break-Up) as Linda, Paul Rudd (Knocked Up, I Love You, Man) is her husband George. Also starring are Justin Theroux (Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire) as Seth, Malin Akerman (27 Dresses, Heartbreak Kid) as Eva, also Ray Liotta (Goodfellas, Field of Dreams) and Alan Alda (MASH, The Aviator). Rated R for "graphic nudity" but don't expect that from the central players!

Whenever the big screen gathers together a cast like this one, it can only mean a fun filled and entertaining time for the audiences who will fill up the theaters around the globe. Things do not go well for a group of friends who set about planning how to murder their "horrible bosses" because they stand in the way of happiness.evin Spacey, Julie Bowen, and Donald Sutherland are also among the cast of Horrible Bosses, lending star power to the promising film. Horrible Bosses might be a dedication to the many stories about how horrible some bosses treat their employees even though they somehow have been put in charge of each of their employee's daily life. Those sad stories regarding how evil some of our bosses have been and how they seem to revel in the pain and hurt feelings of their minions makes them perfect targets for revenge…. and a fun plot for a movie as well.
