Rumor Has It is a romantic comedy-drama film released in 2005. The plot is based on the rumors that the 1967 film, The Graduate, was inspired by the real-life events of the family of a young woman named Sarah Huttinger. Sarah is in her 30s and has been with her fiancé, Jeff, for several years. She returns to her hometown in California to attend her younger sister's wedding and meets Beau Burroughs, a handsome man who her grandmother claims was the inspiration behind the character of Benjamin Braddock in The Graduate.

If you read only that description, you easily could conclude Prom dramatizes debutantes' struggles with mascara and up-dos. To her everlasting credit, Aimee Teegarden, veteran of heavy high school drama in "Friday Night Lights," goes a long way toward redeeming Prom from its awkward identity crisis. With a properly delicate and ironic touch, Ms. Teegarden effectively captures every sophisticated senior's inchoate recognition that "valedictory" means farewell and "commencement" is a synonym for "see ya." "Nova, Ms. Teegarden's allegorically named character, recognizes her pet antagonist probably is the ideal prom date, heavy on the fun factor and devoted to keeping rented tuxedos and poofy dresses in perspective. The unlikely pair contrasts sharply with Mei and Tyler, swept-away sweethearts, who wrestle with conscience and logistics as they work to wring every last micro-gram of meaning and romance from "the biggest night of their lives.""Set for release the last weekend of April, 2011, Prom may or may not set the tone for the Class of 2011's dining and dancing extravaganzas, but it surely will provide invaluable fashion and etiquette tips.

The Stellar Cast of The Big Wedding needs to be written in capitals. See yourself: Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Robin Williams. They will not agree to act in bad film for sure, even for big monies (but how knows?). However it does not mean that Justin Zackham's The Big Wedding will take a honorable place in line alongside with The Matrix, Avatar and Titanic, but let us ensure you the movie is worth watching. A moderately twisted and indefinitely poignant plot tells us a story of family that unites for wedding and the problem is that mother and father of their adopted wedding child are not a married couple for a very long time. Faced to unexpected arrival of their son's biological mother they try to fake their relationships pretending of lovely and happy married couple to total amusement of their guests. But if you dare to believe that this "pretending" is most difficult task for them to complete - you are mistaken. There is much more infeasible mission: not to kill each other in the process…

Harold Lee, who is an investment banker from Korea, is played by John Cho and his bud Kumar Patel (student and Indian American) is ably, though erratically portrayed by Kal Penn. Both actors played their characters in each of the three Harold & Kumar films made to date: Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, and the latest installment, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (in 3-D). If you enjoyed the first two you will love this timely holiday cheer!
