Mavis Gary (Charlize Theron from The Italian Job, Monster) is the author of teen literature. She goes back to her home town in hope of rekindling the flames with an old boyfriend from her high school days. Buddy Slade (Patrick Wilson from The A-Team, Morning Glory is the old boyfriend of Mavis Gary, But he is now happily married and with a new baby and not exactly interested so she finds it's not that easy to claim what she wanted. When she meets up with Matt Freehauf (Patton Oswalt from The King of Queens), another with an agenda when it comes to old high school events, they find their interest have much in common. Freehauf was beaten by some school "jocks" who thought he was gay, causing permanent damage to his legs. Unable to get over past memories from their old alma mater, maturity does not prevail with these old school alumni. reat casting and capable direction from Jason Reitman (actor in Ghostbusters II, Kindergarten Cop and director of Juno, Jennifer's Body). Thoroughly entertaining with a high quality cast and fun story line.

As movies go, Something Borrowed stays remarkably faithful to Emily Giffin's breakout best-seller, the movie's inspiration. Darcy, engaged to Dex, whose despicable behaviour must be forgiven in deference to the plot, throws a thirtieth birthday party for her very-very best friend Rachel. At party's end, perpetual good-girl Rachel ends-up in bed with Dex; and to no one's surprise except her own, Rachel subsequently finds herself constitutionally incapable of lettingh it go as a one-night stand. Give props to Ginnifer Goodwin as Rachel and Kate Hudson as Darcy, who hold their positions in the movie's unsteady love triangle with painstaking attention to the poignancy and precariousness of their situation as both best friends and bitter rivals."Of course, as her affair with Dex continues, Rachel finds herself torn between devotion to her still-engaged, still-oblivious best friend and her genuine affection for her pet philanderer. While Giffin's book rode the top of the charts, critics wrote, "Something Borrowed… will have you laughing, crying, and calling your best friend." Plan for the same reaction to the movie.

Filmed in 2012 and released in 2013, A Haunted House is a comedy spoof on A Paranormal Activity franchise series of movies. It uses the same technique as the original film that can be described as "found footage". Footage of the events that encountered in a house where a married couple moved in. The parody's couple is Malcolm and Keisha, and their new house is haunted in pretty much similar way to the one depicted in Paranormal Activity. And, of course, this "just married" couple is unaware about this fact. The drama unfolds after Keisha becomes haunted, and Malcolm decides to rescue their sexual life by inviting for consultation the various specialists: psychotherapists, ghost hunters, exorcists and priests.The film is directed by Michael Tiddes and stars Marlon Wayans (Dance Flick, Norbit, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra) as Malcolm and Essence Atkins (Act Like You Love Me, Another Stateside, Dysfunctional Friends) as Keisha.

Once again Harold Lee and Kumar Patel are teamed up for a zany adventure in this latest installment, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, in 3-D. This one is a challenge to the duo as it involves searching for the elusive "perfect" Christmas Tree. Kumar shows up at Harold's with a mysterious package and then burns down the much loved traditional Christmas tree belonging to Harold's wife's father. So they set out to find the perfect replacement which, as usual, leads them into trouble and some serious conflicts.t's been six years since these two stoner buddies had their last adventure at Guantanamo Bay and audiences are ready for more comedy and craziness from this pair. Harold Lee, who is an investment banker from Korea, is played by John Cho and his bud Kumar Patel (student and Indian American) is ably, though erratically portrayed by Kal Penn. Both actors played their characters in each of the three Harold & Kumar films made to date: Harold & Kumar go to White Castle, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, and the latest installment, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas (in 3-D). If you enjoyed the first two you will love this timely holiday cheer!

Grown Ups movie looks quite rough. Just think about it two writers, lots of advisers (certainly it could not be done without Rob Schneider). And all these people are professional jokers, who seem to believe that any phrase without a drop of laughter, is useless and meaningless, forgetting that sometimes the perception of what else needs a neutral background. This comedy is not just saturated with jokes; it is completely out of them and the concentration is so high that long to earn poisoning. The fact that the bulk of duty and unfunny jokes, on the one hand, is almost the most neutral background for the really good finds, but on the other only enhances intoxication. Although, admittedly, meeting old friends at the funeral was still as cheerful as the history of a dying comic. And for the sake of only one of Steve Buscemi as the letter "y" worth the risk and suffer a sad sense of humor about the difficulties in urination.

Previously known as Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, this movie represents best practice of the genre. The product of Tyler Perry's genius combined with fresh look of debuting director Tina Gordon Chism worth two hours of your attention for sure. It's not exactly Medea's-like comedy with Tyler Perry dressed as big and monstrous Afro-American woman, Peeples (2013) is more like Our Family Wedding filmed a year ago in 2012. It's funny, spontaneous, lively yet ironic. The action of Peeples revolves around the events at the reunion. A wealthy big family gathers in small town to enjoy each other company. The situation is heating up when Wade Walker, a young infamous "looser", decides to ask a hand of Peeples' lovely daughter Grace' at the pivotal point this rejoicing . This out of the blue surprise causes the effect of chain reaction, which ignites an extraordinary comic turmoil in Hamptons. Nevertheless, Wade Walker has to learn that there are different kinds of Peeples and even the "worst" of them could not be a serious obstacle for true love. Although, Peeples is a directorial debut of Tina Gordon Chism, who was previously known mostly as writer (ATL, Drumline), she managed to gather some brilliant cast: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope from Scandal, Broomhilda von Schaft from Django Unchained) plays as Grace Peeples, while Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Eastbound & Down) plays as Wade Walker.
