Description

Tammy is a 2014 American comedy film directed by Ben Falcone and co-written by Falcone and Melissa McCarthy. The film stars McCarthy as Tammy, a recently fired woman who hits rock bottom and decides to take a road trip with her grandmother, played by Susan Sarandon. The film also features Allison Janney, Gary Cole, Mark Duplass, Dan Aykroyd, and Kathy Bates in supporting roles.

After being fired from her job and finding her husband cheating, Tammy decides to leave her small town and go on a road trip with her grandmother. Along the way, the two women get into all kinds of trouble, from robbing a fast food joint to getting drunk at a Fourth of July party. Throughout the trip, Tammy and her grandmother begin to repair their strained relationship and discover new things about each other.

Tammy was released in the United States on July 2, 2014, and received mixed reviews from critics. While McCarthy's performance was praised, the film was criticized for its uneven tone and lack of focus. Despite this, the film was a commercial success, grossing over $100 million worldwide against a budget of $20 million.

Undoubtfully, cinematography has been my passion since a very young age. Even now, watching a new movie or series always prompts me to ask a lot of questions to the author. Thus, every little essay about a title is definitely not a spoiler, but rather an attempt to explore the idea.

Before the Jackass 3D film begins, there is a brief introduction involving Beavis and Butt-head, where there is a reference to the 3D technology used in the film. The opening sequence shows all of the cast while they are hit by various objects in slow motion. As most of the stunts in the film were filmed with a camcorder Panthom on a very high speed (1000 frames per second) there is lots of the must-see moments. Jackass 3D, like its predecessors (Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, Jackass 2.5), has no real plot. It's just a continuation, the most dangerous stunt performed by the characters and jokes are taken from the MTV's Jackass TV series. Among the numbers in the dangerous stunts there is a tether ball, played with a hive full of bees African, a tooth being extracted with a Lamborghini, the use of a special glue to rip off the hairs from the chest and much more. The final stunt showcases Steve-O launched inside a portable toilet using the banjo jumping ropes. The final sequence was made with a technique quite similar to the starting one, but in this case the viewer relates a series of explosions in slow motion and at the end of it, a flood is simulated with the cast that is completely submerged. Just as in the last two films, Rip Taylor makes announcing the end of the film before you see the credits. During the end credits there are some MTV series' scenes TV show are shown accompanying with the old photographs of the cast. Everything ends up with cast members singing Memories, an official single from the Jackass 3D movie.
