Frankly speaking, The Crazies is like a "Grindhouse" in action, an old school thriller, but filmed with a serious mien, without exaggerated nostalgia for the good old days, when the cinematograph was able to produce the thrills using the simple means. All this we watched millions of times already, this is the task of directing talent here - to impress the audience at the sight of the same in a one million and first time. And if the original version of "The Crazies" was to heavy on political satire and protest against the Vietnam War, a modern remake is already deprived of these options…

Priest movie is a 2011 futuristic Christian-themed vampire-western horror film based on the manhwa, the Korean name for comics and print cartoons, of the same name. Priest movie's plot is set 100 years from now after the war between men and evil forces, the film is about a Christian warrior priest (Paul Bettany) who disobeys church law by teaming with a young sheriff (Cam Gigandet) and a priestess (Maggie Q) to track down a cult of vampire outlaws that is led by a former Christian and now a Satanic priest, Black Hat, who kidnapped his niece before they brainwash her.

Apollo 18 now offers a frighteningly realistic lost-footage answer. The very well-crafted trailer for Apollo 18 ostensibly shows you the "lost" footage."Produced by Timur Bekmambetov and directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego, Apollo 18 is frequently reminiscent of Ridley Scott's original Alien, but in a good, allusive way, building suspense and genuine terror from intense realism. The voice-over for the trailer says ominously, "What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it's the real reason we've never gone back to the moon."When you have seen the footage, you too may become a conspiracy theorist or fan of urban legends."

The most fun of The Wolfman is to watch the play of three great actors: Benicio Del Toro, Hugo Weaving Anthony Hopkins, who does not appear on the big screen for the long time. The absence of a distinct conflict in the plot of the film leads to interesting effects in the masters' play: if Del Toro is still trying to reveal the nature of Lawrence somehow, suffering in the role and scope of the scenario, the Hopkins returns Hannibal Lecter to the screen and Weaving gives as the Agent Smith. By the end they both almost cease to hold themselves and The Wolfman turns into a feast of film fans from computer horror game. On-screen agent Smith converges with Hannibal Lecter in the fight of talents and minds. Such a cross-over of The Matrix and The Silence of the Lambs you have never dreamed of!

Guillermo del Toro once again tries to horrify as after a spooky Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - now, with his next horrendous creature Mama (2013). The story of Mama starts from scene where two sisters Victoria (Megan Charpentier) and Lilly (Isabelle Nélisse) mysteriously disappear in the nearby forest, after their mother was ferociously killed by their father. Lilly's and Victoria's uncle, Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) tries his best to investigate this strange disappearing and to find little girls, if it's possible. But days has pass, and his rescue expedition hasn't show any results. In desperation he seeks and seeks his nieces again making it almost the main mission of his life. Finally, when he is about to give it up, he encounters a weird cabin in the forest, where two girls are living on their own, safe and in the good health. And there would be nothing extraordinary, if we talked about days of searching. But, almost five years have passed since, Victoria and Lilly were missed… That asks lots of questions. How little girls survived in the forest alone? Were they alone? And who was welcomed in Uncle Lucas's house alongside with the children? It seems like little girls' mother haunted their minds and what was taken as aftermath of the stress now turns to be a paranormal entity, Mama that has infested Lucas' house. The situation becomes really horrifying when Lucas's girlfriend, Annabel (Jessica Chastain) decides to use hidden demonic powers of Mama to resurrect her own children, which died many years ago.

Father Lucas initiates Kovack into the darker side of his Catholic faith, showing him how the devil's power seduces and corrupts even in the planet's holiest places.
