Written by Vanessa Taylor and directed by David Frankel (Devil Wears Prada), sweet and relaxing Hope Springs depicts the middle-aged couple trying to reignite their descending relationships. The wife, Kay is played by still beautiful and unparalleled Meryl Streep (just remember her remarkable leading role in The Iron Lady). Along with her husband, Arnold, portrayed by Tommy Lee Jones, she is attending the intense counseling courses specially designated to help "a long-time-ago" married couples to find some warm feelings to each other. The guru of sessions which are organized in the gorgeous seaside town of Great Hope Springs, Dr. Bernie Feld, undertaking his best efforts to persuade Kay and Arnold Soames to revise their relationships both in everyday life and in sex; to rise the libido; to find the resources in each other to delight and love. In this search of happy live, the couple make some fateful decision, that casts the doubt on how is really in need this courses were to revive the love which never disappeared.

Filmed on 2012 by Anne Fletcher, The Guilt Trip could be an exiting entertaining experience for you, especial if you are a fan of Barbara.

Safe Haven of 2013 is loosely based on the Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel of 2011 with same name. The movie's storyline winds around private life of Katie Feldman and her past's dark secrets. Movie starts with scenes where we see Katie - she is settling in a small touristic town Southport, located near Cape Fear (North Carolina). Being a gorgeous, lighthearted young woman, she works as a waitress in one of the local restaurants. Everything looks fine and her life is passing in calm and friendly neighborhood, but as soon as film scenes go, we notice that Katie has to cope with some problems originating from her shady past. It comes absolutely clear that something was wrong in her "previous life" when a local store owner Alex Wheatley tries to build relationships with her. Katie withdraws into herself, although it becomes clear that she has similar feeling towards Alex. Why she keep her heart locked for a new love? It's a question that could be answered by some mysterious events living in Katie's past. The situation becomes more unstable when another man, Jo with enters her live with that sort of feelings. Now, Katie is faced some though choice, a widowed ex-army-mayor, Alex, a local dreamboat, Jo, and staying alone one-on-one with her past. Mostly targeted in woman audience, Safe Haven features not only typical Sparks' signature plot, but quite a decent ensemble cast: Katie Feldman is played by cute Julianne Hough (Sherrie Christian from Rock of Ages , Ariel from Footloose, and Georgia Burlesque), while Josh Duhamel portrays Alex Wheatley. We know Josh for his roles of Jeremy Coleman in Fire with Fire and Captain William Lennox in Transformers franchise.

Sweet November is a romantic drama film that was released in 2001. The movie is about Nelson Moss, a successful ad executive who meets a woman named Sara Deever, who proposes a deal where he can live with her for a month. In exchange, he would have to help her with her personal life. Initially reluctant, Nelson agrees to the deal and starts living with Sara. As the two spend more time together, they start falling in love with each other. However, Sara is hiding a secret, which threatens to put their relationship in jeopardy.

Sitting on the 15th place in The Greatest Directors of All Time list, Woody Allen is a talented writer, who has got more Oscars than fingers on both of your hands. And his next masterpiece To Rome with Love is likely to bring him another one (an Oscar, of course, not a finger). The events of the movie, that seem to be unconnected at the first blush, are masterfully intertwined with each other, mostly not physically, but spiritually, which is an Allen's bonanza anyway. The first story follows a famous NY architect, Jack (Jesse Eisenberg: 30 Minutes or Less, The Social Network) who is nothing more than a younger "reflection" of John (Alec Baldwin: The Good Shepherd, The Departed), who is trying to go back in the past to his youth. Another story is Antonio (Alessandro Tiberi) and Milly's (Alessandra Mastronardi) amorous drama which they are going through separately. This story also involves an Italian prostitute Anna (Penélope Cruz: Broken Embraces, Vicky Cristina Barcelona), and Italian cinema celebrity Luca Salta (Antonio Albanese). There are two other stories (or vignettes) that seem to be separated and unconnected but all of them are nothing more than beads on a curved string of life. By the way, Woody Allen has refuted the assumption of vignette intersection, leaving the audience an opportunity to decide what unites the stories.
