Safe Haven of 2013 is loosely based on the Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel of 2011 with same name. The movie's storyline winds around private life of Katie Feldman and her past's dark secrets. Movie starts with scenes where we see Katie - she is settling in a small touristic town Southport, located near Cape Fear (North Carolina). Being a gorgeous, lighthearted young woman, she works as a waitress in one of the local restaurants. Everything looks fine and her life is passing in calm and friendly neighborhood, but as soon as film scenes go, we notice that Katie has to cope with some problems originating from her shady past. It comes absolutely clear that something was wrong in her "previous life" when a local store owner Alex Wheatley tries to build relationships with her. Katie withdraws into herself, although it becomes clear that she has similar feeling towards Alex. Why she keep her heart locked for a new love? It's a question that could be answered by some mysterious events living in Katie's past. The situation becomes more unstable when another man, Jo with enters her live with that sort of feelings. Now, Katie is faced some though choice, a widowed ex-army-mayor, Alex, a local dreamboat, Jo, and staying alone one-on-one with her past. Mostly targeted in woman audience, Safe Haven features not only typical Sparks' signature plot, but quite a decent ensemble cast: Katie Feldman is played by cute Julianne Hough (Sherrie Christian from Rock of Ages , Ariel from Footloose, and Georgia Burlesque), while Josh Duhamel portrays Alex Wheatley. We know Josh for his roles of Jeremy Coleman in Fire with Fire and Captain William Lennox in Transformers franchise.

Unmarried careerists Kate Holbrook life put the work in the first place. In 37 years, she finally decides to have a baby, but it turns out that her chances of getting pregnant are minimal. In desperation, Kate decides to find a surrogate mother, but her ordered world turns upside when she begin to live with a frivolous Angie and comic battle of the characters strats.

A film by Robert Schwentke is not even trying to step into the territory of melodrama: the protagonist played by Rachel McAdams is so in love with that there are no other characteristics can be found in her person. Her partner, Eric Bana plays just a handsome man, imbued with positive as with chloroform, next to whom dreamy lonely woman wished to be. Of course, Bana is not shining, as Patrick Swayze, while parting with Demi Moore, but it crumbles in the arms McAdams, like sand in the sandglass tears. Confrontation and the unity of love and time was already fully embodied on the screen by Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain), and for this pathos it was actually destroyed by the critics in Venice and the audience at the box office. Schwentke choked with the same feelings, but he also significantly reduced the degree of expressiveness.

You can forget second part of "Twilight" saga which was entirely built on the antics of Bella without paternal care of the Cullen family. "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was directed by David Slade, who shot one of the most horrible and nasty vampire films of recent years "30 Days of Night" and memorably nauseating "Candy", captured the essence of what is happening in the minds of young viewers, and especially the spectators. And he did not balk at the battle scenes, shot them, nevertheless, clearly, briefly, with proper amount "meat" details. In his " "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse", the third part of "Saga" written by Stephenie Meyer, he laid everything in equal proportions: animal magnetism emanating from Taylor Lautner *squeals in the audience*, and cool eroticism, which is responsible for Robert Pattinson *squeals in the audience again*. And what is most valuable, he has not forgotten and all sorts of comic situations, the source and the perpetual motion which is Kristen Stewart. Measure observed throughout the balance of power is not broken, just over two hours fly by unnoticed. You may left the fight scenes for "Another World", because in the third "Twilight" we are kissing with vampires and scratching wolves' ears. Long live diversity!

Imagine a world where mankind has not yet learned to lie. People have work, home and family; they run a normal life, but they are telling the truth only. In this world there is no deceit, flattery, hypocrisy and deceit; everybody speaks only what he thinks. Starring such an unusual ensemble cast as Barbara Streisand and Seth Rogen, The Guilt Trip tells a story about young inventor who has and brilliant idea of organic cleaner he recently patented. His name is Andy Brewster (Seth Rogen), and he is unsuccessfully trying to commercialize his invention by selling it to huge corporations. In order to finally sell it, he plans a trip across the USA, but the organic cleaner is not the only reason, his real aim is to help his recently widowed mother, Joyce to find her lost love in San Francisco (Barbara Streisand) where Andy plans to stop for a while. She knows nothing about the surprise, and it's impossible to predict how the things will turn out. Even, if the storyline does not look very promising for you, the movie is definitely worth to be watch by one only reason – to see the phenomenal play of phenomenal woman, Barbara Streisand. Filmed on 2012 by Anne Fletcher, The Guilt Trip could be an exiting entertaining experience for you, especial if you are a fan of Barbara.
