A film by Robert Schwentke is not even trying to step into the territory of melodrama: the protagonist played by Rachel McAdams is so in love with that there are no other characteristics can be found in her person. Her partner, Eric Bana plays just a handsome man, imbued with positive as with chloroform, next to whom dreamy lonely woman wished to be. In this search of happy live, the couple make some fateful decision, that casts the doubt on how is really in need this courses were to revive the love which never disappeared.

If the words "…from the creator of "Pretty Woman" and "Runaway Bride" is most precious to you, you should watch the movie till the credits, in which Julia Roberts tells a joke. By the way, funny one. You're definitely a person who knows what Garry Marshall wants - the director who knows what you need, and the whole bed with the cute celebrities is ready to bloom with all its might - just for your eyes. And everything would have been quite simply disastrously cute, if it were not Julia Roberts. For the most part she was silent, sometimes smiling, laughing once. And all this salad from the stars, from which a little bit more and you got the diathesis, somehow fades into the background and the movie appears a single note, very quiet and gentle, an almost inaudible reminder that romantic comedy is the most likely humane genre.

Gerard Butler plays George in Playing for Keeps, movie filmed in 2012, about a retired soccer player returning back home. He tries to rebuild his relationships with his son. As the coacher he faces lots of troubles with his wards, but finds out that there are lots of more challenging things in his new live: the gorgeous "soccer's moms" that take a little too much to shine to new athletic bachelor appeared in their neighborhood. This challenge is uneasy one: Stacie, Patti and Denise together put the eye on George. Safe Haven of 2013 is loosely based on the Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel of 2011 with same name. The movie's storyline winds around private life of Katie Feldman and her past's dark secrets. Being a gorgeous, lighthearted young woman, she works as a waitress in one of the local restaurants. Everything looks fine and her life is passing in calm and friendly neighborhood, but as soon as film scenes go, we notice that Katie has to cope with some problems originating from her shady past. It comes absolutely clear that something was wrong in her "previous life" when a local store owner Alex Wheatley tries to build relationships with her. Katie withdraws into herself, although it becomes clear that she has similar feeling towards Alex. Why she keep her heart locked for a new love? It's a question that could be answered by some mysterious events living in Katie's past. The situation becomes more unstable when another man, Jo with enters her live with that sort of feelings. Now, Katie is faced some though choice, a widowed ex-army-mayor, Alex, a local dreamboat, Jo, and staying alone one-on-one with her past. Mostly targeted in woman audience, Safe Haven features not only typical Sparks' signature plot, but quite a decent ensemble cast: Katie Feldman is played by cute Julianne Hough (Sherrie Christian from Rock of Ages , Ariel from Footloose, and Georgia Burlesque), while Josh Duhamel portrays Alex Wheatley. We know Josh for his roles of Jeremy Coleman in Fire with Fire and Captain William Lennox in Transformers franchise.
