When Wilee, a bicycle messenger delivery guy takes on his latest job and picks up an envelope that is of special interest to a certain dirty cop, he finds himself being pursued around Manhattan. The toy shop owner, a cold hearted sullen man, Papa Georges (played by Academy Award Winner Ben Kingsley) and a girl named Isabelle (Chloe Grace Moretz) are along for a wild ride of adventure and intrigue with Hugo. They work together trying to find out how and why Hugo's father has disappeared. There is a heart shaped key that may hold the information Hugo needs but it will take some digging to find out what he wants to know.irected by Martin Scorsese (Shutter Island, The Aviator) and based on a book written by Brian Selznick from a novel based on his children's book titled The Invention of Hugo Cabret, Hugo is produced by Scorsese and Johnny Depp. Young Hugo is played by up and coming English actor Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Merlin).
