Daniel Lugo and Adrian Doorbal are undistinguished bodybuilders, working as coaches in Sun Gym. They are sick and tired of their poor and unpromising life. At one day Daniel Lugo was enlightened by the "brilliant" idea: to kidnap a rich and spoiled local businessman, Victor Kershaw, a prosperous client of Sun Gym. The plot was easy: to torture Victor as long as it will be in need to make him signing his capital over to the "Sun Gym Gang" as their call themselves. To make the tortures more "impressive", the gang enlists the help of Paul Doyle, a monstrous criminal who was recently released from jail. The Last Legion is a much predicable movie: it fills a storyline gap between the Roman Empire and the legend of King Arthur, logically linking them, showing the continuity and integrity of both history and story. Especially by a remarkable way of the sword Excalibur, forged from iron ore from a meteorite fallen on Earth. So this movie should appear sooner or later, due the lack of original stories every unoccupied niche certainly is filled. Thus, the source is good. What do we have as a result? The film is not historical, but "based on" - however, it does not a bug, but only a feature, since not all because movies of the past must be strictly historical. Although significant fact: "Pirates of the Caribbean" can be easily forgiven of the almost complete lack of connection with history, but for "The Last Legion" it is the main disadvantage from the critics point of view… kind of weird logic.

While it's difficult to imagine Conan without Arnold Schwarzenegger this movie lives up to the reputation of the earlier Conan films. Plenty of action, especially after Conan's father is murdered and the village has been destroyed. Conan becomes a thief and a pirate as he sets out to become a magnificent warrior and is on the trail of the evil Khalar Zym, the person responsible for his tribe's village being destroyed and the death of his father.Conan the Barbarian becomes one because of the misery in his past and as he travels about he encounters women who want him along with plenty of adventures, monsters, and witches. Jason Momoa (Ronon Dex of Stargate: Atlantis) is Conan in this updated version of Conan the Barbarian directed by Marcus Nispel (director of Friday the 13th (2009) and Pathfinder)."The 3D aspect enhances the action scenes and there are plenty of them throughout this exciting sword and sorcery film. Cast includes Rose McGowan (Grindhouse, The Black Dahlia), Stephen Lang (Avatar), Ron Perlman of television's Beauty and the Beast, and Rachel Nichols (Criminal Minds)."

A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installation of Die Hard franchise with Bruce Willis in leading role. The movie revolves around McClane's son who finds himself in troubles in Russia and his father who immediately hits the road to rescue the son from these troubles. But, as it happens, these troubles are just a top of the iceberg, the main troubles are ahead. When McClane steps on the Russia ground he realizes that it was the twisted plot implemented by Russian terrorists to get him caught upon the arrival. However, the situation is not so simple. Russian special forces are standing behind this turmoil have their own plans and McClane's capturing is just a part of these plans. This part, however turns to be unexpectedly hard one… which mean that explosions, endless alternating of action scenes, shotgun fire, detonating buildings and agonizing bad guys (all that stuff that we like so much in Die Hard franchise) are just a question of time. May be the plot is too classic and happy end is too predictable as well, but this is some kind of proven formula that works too good to be replaced with something else. Another "sweet" thing in the movie is Russian antagonist: Irina, a role performed by Juliya Snigir. And, if you wonder why this thing "sweet", you seem to be clueless who Juliya Snigir is – if so, just google her in Google Images with "Safe mode Off" – to learn what it does it mean.
