Lord of the Rings ... For the millions of people around the world, these words are associated with the great Peter Jackson's trilogy. And now, few people know that this trilogy has been based on the book by John Ronald Tolkien. The reason for this is that of the film managed to surpass the original source! This is true. The plot is borrowed from the book, but not completely. Certainly something has been cut, something changed. These transformations were needed. The complete transfer to the movie format does not work here, changes should be and they will only benefit to make Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring more watchable.

Since the DVD and Blu-Ray versions of TRON: Legacy have been big time sellers recently it seems like the future is secure for another sequel. TRON 3, 3-D version that continues on with the story line that began back in 1982, keeps the futuristic concept going while including more of the beautiful Olivia Wilde as the character known as Quorra. That persona was way underused according to many critics in the TRON: Legacy film and needed to be emphasized more. Wilde has become known for her "vamp" style roles, making her Quorra so low key she seemed to sleep through much of the movie and that needs to be livened up a bit.eff Bridges character met his demise in the Legacy film but who knows when he may reappear reincarnated or retrofitted. With emphasis placed on the characters in the story, the movie seemed to work best and that means Bridges needs to be there in some form or another. 3-D will add some visual appeal to the movie but even the original 1982 release had plenty to offer those interested in the visual "lightshow" effect presented in good sci-fi filming.

A new look at the relationship of vampires and humans was eventually faded and vulgarized last time. If Stephenie Meyer's prose is not acceptable for you by age or other reasons you will like Daybreakers. Invented and filmed by Michael and Peter Spierig, they at least can interest you. After securing finally over the world, vampires have done it openly fascist. The Daybreakers world is dividedon the beings first, second and even third grate, it features excessive militarization, corporatism and other attributes. The scenery, however, sometimes recalls The Matrix. Instead of farms where people got out of energy, there is stacked factories for "milking" the blood. Yes, and the "treatment" of vampire Ethan Hawke clearly held under the motto "Welcome to reality."

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is third and final episode in the saga."Produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Michael Bay,Transformers: Dark of the Moon picks-up where the first two Transformers movies left-off, bringing the narrative to its natural denouement and giving-up some of the first two installments' scale and intensity in order to "go deeper into the mythos, give it more character development, and make it darker and more emotional." Official promotional materials for Transformers: Dark of the Moon summarize simply, "The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers' final battle." Adolescent boys of all ages may lament Megan Fox's decision not to reprise her performances as Mikaela, but they will appreciate the wisdom of Bay's decision not to replace her or contrive a substitute. A little shell-shocked from the epic failure of his Wall Street sequel, Shia LeBeouf attempts a sequel do-over in Transformers: Dark of the Moon ; and Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, and Ramon Rodriguez return for the final episode of the Transformers' saga. Perhaps most importantly, Peter Cullen once again puts his talents to work as the voice of Optimus Prime.

Riddick (2013), which previously was titled as The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking is the third movie of the Riddick franchise. The first one was low budget Pitch Black, which was filmed in 2000. This film gave a start both for The Chronicles of Riddick franchise and Vin Diesel career. The movie was a "sleeper hit" grossing over US$53 million in theaters with budget less than US$23 million. The second film in the franchise, The Chronicles of Riddick was less successful in profits: it generated over US$115 million with budget around US$100 million, but met mostly positive audience feedback, although critics met it with tepid reviews. Nevertheless, the third movie is aimed to repeat the success of the first film: it has relatively low budget grossing around US$38 million. The story of the Riddick (2013) revolves around the antihero, Richard B. Riddick. He is left on the scorched planet inhabited by alien predators. When he manages to activate an alarm beacon, it attracts the attention of two spaceships. The first one carries the hordes of thugs hired to kill Riddick, while the second one is captained by the man well known to him. Uncommon intelligence and inhuman strength help Riddick to use these guests to get away from the planet, commit an act of retaliation and rescue the people of his homeworld planet Furya from mass destruction.

The trailer-teasers for Super 8 inspire millions more questions than they answer, but they do give lots of proof the "old Spielberg magic" is on the comeback trail. Super 8's characters, suspense, and imagery strongly remind veteran dreamworkers of ET and Jurassic Park—strangely scary yet still kid-friendly. For all that they tantalize, though, the Super 8 trailers preserve the film's secrets. The State Department and CIA should study in the J.J. Abrams School of Secret-Keeping; even the WikiLeaks guys would struggle to dig up much more than the trailer's suggestion that a bunch of cute and cool kids have to deal with an "unknown incredible creature." All we really know is that, in the small Ohio town, just about everything that can blow up will blow up. Oh yeah, and we know the kids will film everything on their super-8 movie camera."Super 8 may go into Hollywood history as the movie with sibling rivalry in the sub-text. Elle Fanning, Dakota's younger sister, and Amanda Michalka, Allyson's sister, come out of the big kids' shadows and into their own, proving they have talent and skills. The big kids should feel very afraid. Gabriel Basso, the one child star without famous siblings but who may be a direct descendant of Tom Sawyer, continues the tradition of impish, resourceful Spielberg boy-heroes. Kyle Chandler, uber-dad from "Friday Night Lights," brings that same manly command to Super 8, reassuring everyone that everything will be okay.
