Drive My Car is a drama film released in 2021, directed by Ryūsuke Hamaguchi. The movie is based on a short story by Haruki Murakami and follows the story of a stage actor, Yusuke Kafuku, who hires a chauffeur, Misaki Watari, to drive him around Hiroshima for his upcoming play.

The movie is directed by Roman Coppola who has given us CQ. So, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say the film is almost a directorial debut Roman Coppola as for big-screen movie. Nevertheless we shall pay a tribute to his actors' selection – the ensemble cast is splendid and full of chemistry between the characters. As we said before Charles is played by a top-ranked American comedian Charlie Sheen (a star of Two and a Half Men, She Wants Me, Due Date and Scary Movie franchise). His girlfriend Ivana is played by a gorgeous Katheryn Winnick (a star of Vikings, Stand Up Guys and Nikita). Charles friend Kirby is played by Jason Schwartzman (Saving Mr. Banks, Moonrise Kingdom, Bored to Death), while Saul is played by Bill Murray (Hyde Park on Hudson, Passion Play, Lost in Translation).

A 65-th Cannes festival nominee, David Cronenberg's movie ambitiously named Cosmopolis showcases the one day of unpredictable life of young billionaire portrayed by Robert Pattison. The previous movie of David Cronenberg, a biography thriller The Dangerous Method, presented David as perfect mastermind of psycho -packed dramas, and Cosmopolis should not disappoint us. This also applies to Robert Pattison, a brilliant actor, and a rising star of Hollywood, whose mission to play thoughtful young men in the next ten years is apparently predetermined. But, let's go back the movie itself. Set in the Manhattan and filmed during the one month only, Cosmopolis reveals the inner side of richmen's life of New York city. A 28 years old financial prodigy Eric Packer (Robert Pattison) heads up to his hairdresser in super luxury limo rolling down the Manhattan streets. He can hardly imagine how his next 24 hours will turn out in this cosmopolitical metropolis. He'll cheat his wife. He'll be on the edge of losing his wealth and life. You know, everything can happen on the way to barber.

Choreography, writing, acting, attitude, and some knowledge of the martial arts can make for an entertaining movie such as we find in the 2011 release of Warrior. Most "sports" related movies are too predictable and technical to make them entertaining enough to please a wide audience but this one covers nearly all the bases to make it a family oriented film. Even the addition of Nick Nolte as the father of a young man training for a mixed martial arts competitive tournament brings plenty of pathos and family values to the film. Nolte is a former boxer and an alcoholic whose two sons, played by Tom Hardy (Tom Conlon) and Joel Edgerton (playing Brendan Conlon) decide to become professional mixed martial arts fighters and ultimately compete against each other. Nolte (as Paddy Conlon) has his hands full with his own demons but tries to be of help for the sake of family ties. Also starring Jennifer Morrison (playing Tess Conlon), William Mapother (David Milligan), and Kurt Angle (as Koba) Warrior is filled with action and great fight sequences.
