Released in 2012, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days covers the events depicted in third and fourth books of Jeff Kinney: The Last Straw and Dog Days. The last one "realistic fiction" novel got more attention from Wallace Wolodarsky who wrote a screenplay for the movie, and this fact is noticeably reflected in the film's plot. The storyline begins with Greg Heffley and Rowley Jefferson are going to the country club for their summer vacations where due to the unfortunate sequence of developments both of them got into the troubles. Bleak outlook of spending the summer in vain efforts to make some money is rising at the horizon with more and more of clarity. That makes the movie very similar to previous two: Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011) – the hopeless children are showcased as losers trying to do their best. Nevertheless, the play of the cast is outstanding as usual and while watching this sequel you distinctively understand why these seven actor and actress (Zachary Gordon, Karan Brar, Robert Capron, Laine MacNeil, Connor & Owen Fielding and Dalila Bela were nominated the Young Artist Award and some of them ( we mean Laine MacNeil) even won it. By the way, Zachary Gordon's career is moving quite fast, which is led him to the lead role in the 2012 movie Norm of the North, where he plays main protagonist, Norm.

Dr. Alfred Jones is a self described suburban skeptic who just happens to have a vast knowledge about fish, especially salmon. So when a Middle East Sheik who is passionate about fly fishing for salmon brings up his dream of making that dream come true in the dry deserts of the Middle East, he goes to Jones for help. What sounds like an outlandish request is actually doable with dams and lots of financial backing (which the Sheik definitely has in abundance). Director Lasse Hallström (Water for Chocolat, The Cider House Rules) goes a bit overboard with the clichéd "swimming against the time" but the film is well worth watching.tarring Ewan McGregor (The Men Who Stare at Goats, Angels & Demons) as Dr. Alfred Jones, Emily Blunt (The Adjustment Bureau, Gulliver's Travels) is Harriet Chetwode-Talbot a management consultant for the salmon fishing enthusiastic Sheik, and Kristin Scott Thomas (The English Patient, Confessions of a Shopaholic) plays Bridgett Maxwell. There wasn't any bridging of diplomatic relations during the filming of this movie, just an entertaining story well acted out.

Fool's Gold is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Andy Tennant. The movie stars Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson as a divorced couple who reunite in pursuit of a sunken treasure. Rush Hour 2 is an action-comedy film that was released in 2001. It is a sequel to the film Rush Hour and follows the story of Chief Inspector Lee (played by Jackie Chan) and LAPD Detective James Carter (played by Chris Tucker) who are on vacation in Hong Kong but get involved in a murder case of two U.S. customs agents after a bombing at the American embassy. Lee believes the crime is connected to Triad crime lord Ricky Tan (played by Lone) and tries to unravel the mystery with Carter's help.

Before leaving they agree to invite parents for a gala dinner, where they want to tell about intentions intend to get married. The dinner turns out to be a failure. Marcus and Lucia really want do get married, but the wedding is the affair of their families.In particular, Lucia's father cannot accept the fact that she leaves the studio to marry a man with a different skin color. Marcus and Lucia are only two weeks to calm dawn the situation...."
