"Doc Hollywood" is a 1991 romantic comedy film directed by Michael Caton-Jones. The movie stars Michael J. Fox as Ben Stone, a young doctor who is on his way to Beverly Hills for a job interview when his car breaks down in a small South Carolina town. While he waits for his car to be fixed, he gets roped into serving as the town's temporary doctor.

Therefore, no one should feel at all surprised that Portman can follow a brilliant and breathtaking performance in Black Swan with a charming and lighthearted romp through No Strings Attached. The bitter and brutal ballet movie showed critics and audiences just how smart, sensitive, and psychotic Portman can become when a role demands manic intensity. One critic commented, "She always has been good, but now we know the woman actually can act—except she is so good we forget she is acting." No Strings Attached proves Portman's range, and it satisfies her concern that Hollywood produces far too few "vulgar" comedies for women by women and starring women."No Strings Attached gained director Ivan Reitman's attention when it qualified for the 2009 "Hollywood Blacklist," a studio executive's annual collection of the best scripts that have failed to make the cut at every major studio. The writers pitched No Strings Attached in a single sentence: "A guy and a girl struggle to have an exclusively sexual relationship as they both come to realize they want much more." Although the plot seems painfully thin, irony, sentiment, and humor alloy the script. Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher punctuate and pixelate the post-modern era's answer to Doris Day and Rock Hudson, delivering a sweetly satisfying Valentine's Day confection. Apparently, at Yale, students learn never to take themselves or their obvious brilliance too seriously.

It's the 80's in Los Angeles and life seems good. Plenty of cocaine and cash keep the younger set in a party mood and Take Me Home Tonight is what everybody seems to want. Matt Franklin (Topher Grace), a grad from MIT, decides his high paying job is not enough to satisfy and instead takes a job working in a video store as a clerk. Now his parents think he has "flipped out" for sure. He wants his dream girl, Teresa (Tori Frederking) to notice him and things take on a decidedly explosive twist in one night of excessive festivity at a Labor Day party weekend. Matt's best friend, Barry, has been fired and Wendy, his sister, has plans to marry a boring boyfriend named Kyle but all this only makes his own personal crisis seem larger since his beloved Teresa is back in his sights. It all comes to a head when too many excesses prove to have explosive results. Depicting heavy drug use, though common in the 80's, nearly kept Take Me Home Tonight from completion with moral standards of today but Brian Grazer and Ron Howard (Imagine Entertainment) saved the day and many of the cut scenes.

"Birdman" is a 2014 black comedy-drama film that tells the story of Riggan Thomson, a washed-up actor who tries to revive his career by staging a Broadway play. The film explores themes of fame, identity, and the nature of art. The film was directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and stars Michael Keaton, Emma Stone, and Edward Norton in lead roles.

In the second part, which came up for a great name: Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. All the action revolves around the vocal talents of the chipmunks' trio. Chipmunks are still in an exemplary self-confident, dynamic, wonderful, although sometimes vulgarly joking. It is not surprising that two years ago, they were the real heroes and idols for young audience. At this time we can confidently predict that the audience of fans of Alvin, Theodore and Simon will increase considerably.

La Ciénaga is a 2001 Argentine drama film written and directed by Lucrecia Martel. The movie depicts the lives of two families living in Salta, a small town in northern Argentina. The families are connected by a friendship between the mothers, who come from different social classes. The movie explores themes of privilege, boredom, and alcoholism.
