The Great Race is a 1965 American comedy film directed by Blake Edwards. The movie is set in the early 1900s and follows the adventures of two rival daredevil racers, Leslie and the Great Leslie, who compete in a race from New York to Paris. Along the way, they encounter a variety of obstacles and challenges, including treacherous weather and sabotage from their competitors.

Kevin Smith, who directed the Cop Out movie, twists the detective intrigue, involving a familiar narrative, highlighted the stereotypical figures of the influential mobsters, petty criminal "fry", an innocent victim-emigrant from Latin America, etc. You can fell that the filming was a great pleasure for Kevin and watching was not less entertainment for audience! Still, Kevin Smith would not have been himself, if even in this "compromise" movie, sarcastically failed for philistine myths and newfangled trends. In particular, everybody will be kick-assed: even the modern samurai "Yamakasi", surprising you by the difficult and dangerous art of parkour, which in the case of the hapless Dave played by Sean William Scott, leads to, say, tragic consequences…

The super-smart but tragically nerdy kids go to Harvard; the wise-ass geniuses go to Yale. Natalie Portman went to Yale. Therefore, no one should feel at all surprised that Portman can follow a brilliant and breathtaking performance in Black Swan with a charming and lighthearted romp through No Strings Attached. The bitter and brutal ballet movie showed critics and audiences just how smart, sensitive, and psychotic Portman can become when a role demands manic intensity. One critic commented, "She always has been good, but now we know the woman actually can act—except she is so good we forget she is acting." No Strings Attached proves Portman's range, and it satisfies her concern that Hollywood produces far too few "vulgar" comedies for women by women and starring women."No Strings Attached gained director Ivan Reitman's attention when it qualified for the 2009 "Hollywood Blacklist," a studio executive's annual collection of the best scripts that have failed to make the cut at every major studio. The writers pitched No Strings Attached in a single sentence: "A guy and a girl struggle to have an exclusively sexual relationship as they both come to realize they want much more." Although the plot seems painfully thin, irony, sentiment, and humor alloy the script. Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher punctuate and pixelate the post-modern era's answer to Doris Day and Rock Hudson, delivering a sweetly satisfying Valentine's Day confection. Apparently, at Yale, students learn never to take themselves or their obvious brilliance too seriously.

The Vicious Kind tells the story of one family, more precisely on the short stage in the life of a certain circle of people. A young couple, Peter and Emma, come to visit his father on Thanksgiving Day. They are driven up by pretty brutal, bizarre and intemperate man, the dear elder brother of Peter. Due to certain family circumstances, about which we would be told in the end of the movie, the eldest son is not communicating with his father for nearly eight years.

Think of Prom as High School Musical with heavy doses of teen-aged angst. Summarizing Prom in frighteningly reductive terms, Disney says, "A group of teenagers get ready for their high school prom," and the producers list it simultaneously as "comedy" and "drama." If you read only that description, you easily could conclude Prom dramatizes debutantes' struggles with mascara and up-dos. To her everlasting credit, Aimee Teegarden, veteran of heavy high school drama in "Friday Night Lights," goes a long way toward redeeming Prom from its awkward identity crisis. With a properly delicate and ironic touch, Ms. Teegarden effectively captures every sophisticated senior's inchoate recognition that "valedictory" means farewell and "commencement" is a synonym for "see ya." "Nova, Ms. Teegarden's allegorically named character, recognizes her pet antagonist probably is the ideal prom date, heavy on the fun factor and devoted to keeping rented tuxedos and poofy dresses in perspective. The unlikely pair contrasts sharply with Mei and Tyler, swept-away sweethearts, who wrestle with conscience and logistics as they work to wring every last micro-gram of meaning and romance from "the biggest night of their lives.""Set for release the last weekend of April, 2011, Prom may or may not set the tone for the Class of 2011's dining and dancing extravaganzas, but it surely will provide invaluable fashion and etiquette tips.

Each Thanksgiving Jack Sadelstein dreads the traditional family dinner because his twin sister always shows up. Jill Sadelstein is almost the exact opposite to Jack in that she's needy, passive aggressive, and totally maddening to her twin brother Jack. Each Thanksgiving she turns his tranquil life absolutely upside down! When his irritating sister arrives from the Bronx, New York this time however, she doesn't leave! Jack's idealic life and comfortable home in Los Angeles is soon totally disrupted by the sister from Hell!ennis Dugan again directs an Adam Sandler film and this one is partially filmed aboard the newly launched cruise vessel, Allure of the Seas. Actually filmed on board just before it's maiden voyage. Jack/Jill played by Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore, Just Go With It), wife Erin played by Katie Holmes (Dawson's Creek, Batman Begins), Dana Carvey (Saturday Night Live, Wayne's World) plays a puppeteer and also starring Al Pacino, Shaquille O'Neal, Dan Patrick, and Regis Philbin playing themselves in cameo roles.
