Previously known as Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, this movie represents best practice of the genre. The product of Tyler Perry's genius combined with fresh look of debuting director Tina Gordon Chism worth two hours of your attention for sure. It's not exactly Medea's-like comedy with Tyler Perry dressed as big and monstrous Afro-American woman, Peeples (2013) is more like Our Family Wedding filmed a year ago in 2012. It's funny, spontaneous, lively yet ironic. The action of Peeples revolves around the events at the reunion. A wealthy big family gathers in small town to enjoy each other company. The situation is heating up when Wade Walker, a young infamous "looser", decides to ask a hand of Peeples' lovely daughter Grace' at the pivotal point this rejoicing . This out of the blue surprise causes the effect of chain reaction, which ignites an extraordinary comic turmoil in Hamptons. Nevertheless, Wade Walker has to learn that there are different kinds of Peeples and even the "worst" of them could not be a serious obstacle for true love. Although, Peeples is a directorial debut of Tina Gordon Chism, who was previously known mostly as writer (ATL, Drumline), she managed to gather some brilliant cast: Kerry Washington (Olivia Pope from Scandal, Broomhilda von Schaft from Django Unchained) plays as Grace Peeples, while Craig Robinson (Hot Tub Time Machine, Eastbound & Down) plays as Wade Walker.

The 2011 version of the ultra scary Fright Night is now a 3D screamer with the handsome Colin Farrell playing the bloodsucking guy next door. He asks a TV show host for his help. Enter Peter Vincent, who is played by the Scottish actor David Tennant (Hamlet, Single Father). Now the fun begins in this remake of the 1985 version with the same title now directed by Craig Gillespie.

It takes a magical Bodhi tree to show Jack McCall, a literary agent with a gift for gab, that he talks too much. When Jack's client Dr. Sinja finds his agent has exaggerated details of a literary deal the author/guru plants a Bohdi tree on Jack's property. The tree, a symbol of wisdom and honesty, begins losing its leaves at a rate of one per word issued by Jack McCall. And as Jack is a major talker this causes severe trauma to the magical tree. When Jack learns that he will die after he speaks (and the tree loses) one thousand he finds he is hit with a karmic repercussion that he needs to eliminate. As an actor well known to be a dedicated and capable comic can Will Ferrell also do it while speaking those funny lines in Spanish? He learned enough of the language to get his lines out there and of course his "body language" is internationally appreciated in films like Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and The Anchorman. The title translates to House of My Father and when the ranch of his father struggles financially Armando (Ferrell) and his brother Raul (Diego Luna from Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Open Range) struggle to keep it afloat.ill Ferrell's character falls for brother's fiancé, a Latina lovely named Sonia played by Genesis Rodriguez (TV series Entourage) and there are plenty of comparisons to telenovela type soap opera shows, especially seen on Mexican TV stations, so there will be a lot of campy overly dramatic moments with passionate love scenes, slow motion gun fighting, zippy white suits, and big mustaches!
