It was produced by FX Productions and directed by Janicza Bravo. The show was filmed in Rome, Georgia in June 2022 and its score was done by Twin Shadow. The series received mixed reviews from critics with a 63% of positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and a score of 62 on Metacritic.
