"Tanner '88" is a political satire television series created by Robert Altman and Garry Trudeau. It aired on HBO in 1988, during the United States presidential election campaign.

Somebody Somewhere is a TV series that premiered on HBO in January 2022. The show is a comedy drama that follows Sam, a woman in her 40s who is dealing with a midlife crisis after the death of her sister. The series is set in Manhattan, Kansas and stars Bridget Everett as Sam, Jeff Hiller as her co-worker and friend Joel, and Mary Catherine Garrison as Tricia Miller, Sam's sister who runs a store called Tender Moments.

Dish Nation is a TV show that features a team of radio personalities from various cities in the United States discussing celebrity news and gossip. The show began airing in 2011 and has since expanded to include teams from 8 different cities. Each team records their own segment which is then edited and compiled into a national broadcast.

At the time "Rules of Engagement" premiered on CBS, the network's average viewer was fifty-three years old and more devoted to "60 Minutes" than sexy badinage. Although committed to The Eye's Monday night youth movement, a few programming executives worried that David Spade's first-episode proclamation, "I do what I want. I date who I want. And I sleep with whoever will let me," would tank the new sit-com before it found its legs and voice. Instead, "Rules of Engagement" became a Monday night mainstay, a natural complement to "Two-and-a-Half Men" and "How I Met Your Mother." According to one pundit, "Rules of Engagement" shows "the three stages of sit-com love," comparing and contrasting a scoundrelly, scamming bachelor with both a love-struck, starry-eyed newly engaged couple and a jaded, open-eyed, realistic couple married to one another approximately forever. Although plots generally center on the fiancees, Jeff and Audrey, veterans of marriage, often save the show from life-threatening boredom. Patrick Warburton, poker-faced and intoning his lines in a deliciously monotone bass, makes the perfect foil to Russell, the bachelor's manic sex machine and Adam's ingenuousness.

No, they don't hate each other and if it would be necessary they likely took a bullet for one another. The problem is, they just can't get along. That's why Captain Sutton their boss sends them to couple therapy to Dr. Ryan with whom he had positive experience in some similar case. At the same time Wes and Travis are attempting to solve the murder mystery that somehow connected with all the stuff revolving around their group therapy making the series's plot more twisted and complicated. The chemistry between two actors adds more spiciness to overall TV show's performance. Travis Marks is portrayed by Michael Ealy who played in Think Like a Man as Dominic and Detective Sebastian in vampire-themed movie Underworld: Awakening. You've probably noticed him in Californication series as Ben. Another cop, Wes Mitchell, is Warren Kole, a quite demanded actor in Hollywood television series industry. His portfolio includes: The Chicago Code, Rizzoli & Isles, Mental (as Rylan Moore) and 24 (Brian Gedge). He also has been seen as Carrier BridgeTechs in action-packed movie The Avengers. Another noticeable person in Common Law is Captain Mike Sutton played by Jack McGee who was acting in Ruben Fleischer's Gangster Squad which was filmed at the same time. Before Common Law, Jack McGee also remarkably played in numerous TV shows and movies like Rescue Me, Brotherhood, Criminal Minds, Players, New Year's Eve, etc. Dr. Elise Ryan (who is trying to help Travis and Wes find a peace with each other) is portrayed by Sonya Walger, cute Hollywood TV series superstar with a long listed filmography: FlashForward, In Treatment, Lost and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Starring Edie Falco, Showtime's "Nurse Jackie" stands out as arguably the best medical drama on television, because the premium cable network allows writers and producers plenty of latitude for developing all of Jackie's passions"”the quality of her patients' care, the unbearable arrogance of vaguely sociopathic physicians, and the delicious relief of good orgasms and Oxycontin. "Nurse Jackie," both the character and the show, have some issues: The character suffers excruciating pain from a bad back and therefore has developed an addiction to painkillers. Yes, you have seen this dangerous dilemma recently on both "House" and "Southland," where the admirable characters continue doing their wonderworks despite their addictions. "Nurse Jackie," the show, suffers a subtle but unmistakable identity crisis, suggesting opportunities for some of the most brilliant black humor known to American medical drama; but, like a pensive and pretentious nineteen-year-old, it insists on taking itself much too seriously. One critic aptly observes, "'Nurse Jackie' doesn't look like the average network medical drama, but it does follow the formula of many premium cable shows, taking a knowing and at times dark, sardonic look at the classic themes of love, life and work." The critic, however, forgets to mention that nowhere does "sardonic" appear as a synonym for either "funny" or "engaging."
