Have Nero ever met Hitler ? Why invention of the planes was a bad idea? Is there any other way to create humans? If you consider these questions as funny (not stupid) that means The Ricky Gervais Show is the right type of entertainment for you! Made in typical Hanna-Barbera styled animation shorts which are more likely to remind you the Flintstones, especially when you see Ricky Gervais which animated face look very similar to Fred's one. Another funny character in the show is Karl Pilkington, and here we have to make some break and tell about Pilkington a bit more. As Ricky Gervais, Karl Pilkington is the real person, who was originally hired to assist Ricky and Stephen in some audio-engineering processes while making their show. His outlandish sense of humor and unparalleled thoughts make him a catalyst for Ricky and Stephen duo's performances, which is obviously had led Karl to showbiz. Fascinating jokes about monkeys building spaceships with banana dispenser and chimpanzee performing unbelievable tricks, made "the monkey theme" some kind of "trademark" appearing in each and every episode of the TV show which is super popular now. However everything started with very funny and therefore successful Ricky Gervais' podcasts , which were even get listed in Guinness Book of World Records.
