Fear and loathing, friendship and love, jealousy and betrayal are reigning in the world of professional ballet. Those petite girls only seems to be tender and sweet, but deep inside their souls look more like alligators ready to eat each other in order to get a best role. However, even in this harsh world of pure competition is the place for glimpse of love. This is a story of dance-themed reality docu-drama Breaking Pointe, a new CW series featuring seven ballet stars in their everyday life and job. Christiana Bennett, is the probably oldest main character in Breaking Pointe, she is 32 and now she is at the top of her ballet career, but strong competition not allowing her to bask in the rays of glory. She is very aware of young and hungry ballerinas starving for her place. Beckanne Sisk is right that kind of young and hungry ballerina, she is extremely talented, and in her 19 she's made the brilliant dance career, most of twentysomething dancers only have to dream of. Beckanne has a friend Katie Martin, less talented by awesome girl who admires Beckanne, though in some weird way. Another character is Ronald Tilton, with whom Katie is dating. He is a dancer too, and it's hard to say what Katie and Ronald hold in the first place: ballet or relationships. Another dancing couple is Rex Tilton and Allison DeBona. It seems like Rex is totally in love with Allison, but it's clear that Allison prefers her ballet career instead of their relationships. Such a stratagem of relationships dramatically showcased in Breaking Pointe makes these TV show somewhat like The Hills, but more concerned about real problems of really talented, not only pretty, people.

When reality television star Khloe Kardashian married Lamar Odom he might have suspected his personal life would turn into a three ring circus but he went ahead with it anyway. Most likely because he loves the krazy Kardashian and just might love the limelight as well being he is a basketball superstar in his own right. Khloe & Lamar are a couple in love and in the early months of a marriage there is usually plenty of sex happening and this couple is definitely no exception. The big difference is the couple is doing it (well almost) on television! Khloe decides a sex swing is just what they need to have kinky fun and so she and her friend Malika try to install one in Khloe's bedroom with hysterical results! When she and hubby Lamar try out the contraption they discover she did not secure it to the ceiling very well and the couple and swing fall on top of the bed. This is but one example of the crazy plots involved in this reality sit-com. Others include Lamar handcuffing his bride to him to teach her a lesson on babying him. Plenty of laughs especially if you're already a Kardashian fan!

With coaches rather than judges the theme is directed toward mentoring and giving advice from well known and highly respected people in the music world. Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine will "coach" their contestants through the various processes involved. There will first be a blind audition in which only the contestant's voice is revealed to their coach/judge, next a "battle" phase in which the contestants (performing as teams) compete against one another as they sing the same song, and then they will be asked to perform their song on live television. It is in this final phase that the TV audience will participate and give their opinion as to which act is best. Competition is heald in eight US cities including, Nashville, New York, Miami, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, and Minneapolis in addition to online auditions for a wide and varied selection of talented singers. When the teams are down to one member for each of the coaches they will compete in the finale and $100,000 prize. The Voice is an intriguing new concept in reality programming.

Each of the wives of these basketball pros have something in common"¦ they have husbands who are high in stature as well as high profile in their lives. Being a celebrity wife is not all that easy as these "wives" can show us. Jealousy in the midst of "reality" television is common and we have seen it ever since the first episodes of Survivor. But these ladies seem to take it to another level with their backbiting and competition involving lifestyles most of us only dream about. Jennifer (Williams) defends her right to put on a new face for the latest season's shows and makes a vow to rise above all of that drama we see on the show. Shaunie (O'Neal) has a rather dramatic turn of events surrounding her latest birthday bash. Meanwhile, Evelyn (Lozada) has her own blog and tries to explain why laughing at Kenya Bell's boring speech is absolutely rude! Suzie (Ketcham) discusses food stamps and comments on her dramatic turn of events with Jennifer (Williams), blaming her attitude on alcohol (not that any of these fine ladies hit the bottle)! Lets hope they keep all this drama in the proper perspective, and the show keeps on fascinating many of us viewers!

Game show players who have been worst enemies and competitors in the past now must compete as pairs even if they've been known to have bitter feuds in the past. There are fourteen teams of pairs with the same gender being picked for each team. This may give the males an edge depending on what the particular challenge is. But don't rule out the brains and ingenuity of those females! They perform "missions" which are to be followed up with the elimination round known as "The Jungle". The losing team each week will face "The Jungle" and the winner of the elimination round has a good chance to win the grand prize of $300,000. The public does get the opportunity to cast their vote in the mix and help decide who has been the most successful team of the season.

Ever since Candid Camera way back in TV show history there has been a wicked delight in watching ordinary people be caught up in pranks that wind up being out loud laughably funny. Shows such as Totally Hidden Video, TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes, Pranked, and Punk'd have each had something in common and that was to watch as ordinary people who do ordinary things can be extremely funny when things don't go just quite right. Betty White takes that brand of humor to another level when her crew of blue haired senior citizens turn the tables on much younger people. They play pranks on the young resilient generation and show they still have a broad sense of humor too. Starring and hosted by the venerable 90 year old Betty White who has seen her career blossom and her life become increasingly busy recently gives us the chance to laugh out loud at ourselves through the cameras provided by NBC. If the younger set were to play practical jokes on the seniors the show would lose much of its humor but in this case the senior citizens prevail.
