Talamasca: The Secret Order is a supernatural thriller and the third series in AMC's Immortal Universe, the growing screen adaptation of Anne Rice's novels that already includes Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches. Co-run by John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty, it turns its attention to the Talamasca, the ancient, shadowy order that recurs throughout Rice's books, a secret society devoted to observing and cataloguing vampires, witches, spirits and other supernatural beings.
Nicholas Denton stars as Guy Anatole, a sharp young recruit drawn into the order's hidden world, where he learns its rules, its secrets and its dangers. Elizabeth McGovern plays Helen, a seasoned veteran running the New York Motherhouse, while William Fichtner is the mysterious Jasper, who controls the London branch, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers appears as an ambitious agent skilled in the order's spycraft. The six-episode first season follows Guy's initiation as loyalties blur and the true nature of the Talamasca comes into focus.
By building out the organization that quietly links Rice's vampires and witches, the series deepens the Immortal Universe and sets the stage for future crossovers. Atmospheric and intrigue-driven, Talamasca: The Secret Order is streaming on AMC+.
