As the story begins, Chuck is a twenty-something computer geek working at the Burbank, California, "Buy More" store. Chuck receives an e-mail from Bryce Larkin, his former Stanford roommate, who is now a CIA agent, allegedly a rogue. When Chuck opens and reads the e-mail, it embeds "The Intersect" a "neural super-computer" in his brain, making "Nerd Herd" guy the repository of all the CIA's intelligence information. The CIA dispatches Agent Sarah Walker, of course a beautiful blonde, to protect Chuck by posing as his girlfriend. Drama, action, and comedy ensue. The producers describe "Chuck" as an "action-comedy-drama" series. Originally NBC's lead-in to short-lived but monumentally popular "Heroes," "Chuck" has retained the look and feel of the warm-up act for the bigger talent; but the network has failed to deliver the headline act that would save poor "Chuck" from its life constantly on the threshold of cancellation. Critics complain that "Chuck," although clever and loaded with potential, never quite satisfies the requirements of action or comedy or drama, let alone hitting the trifecta. The series has survived largely on the strength of its cute-power and a core of exceptionally loyal fans who know how to use Twitter and Facebook.

Moreover, "The A-Team" piqued Americans' fierce devotion to underdogs, frequently reminding viewers how the lovable, wise-cracking misfits were framed"”fugitives from injustice, always aligning them with society's oppressed and disenfranchised, and often showing them "MacGivering" ingenious weapons from junkyard parts and duct tape"”the more insidious side of legendary American ingenuity. Trekking through the hot Sahara Desert then over Atlas Mountains of Northern Africa is no easy feat, especially when there so many other dedicated competitors involved. They must show their ability to ride horses, read compasses, rappel the mountains, and right a capsized boat capably and forge on to win the race.

With well over one million views on its very first day Mortal Kombat: Legacy could be called a phenomenal hit! Machinima began the ten episode run on YouTube and it is proving that if you launch (online) it they will come. Michael Jai White along with Jeri Ryan are seriously busting chops and taking names this time around even though White (as Jax) still has human arms and Sonya Blade (Jeri Ryan) appears to be tied up an incapacitated throughout half the first episode. We notice that Kano (Darren Shahlavi) also still has both his eyes so this may get interesting if the story line is changed very much. Well presented and with great visuals the series has a PG rating but look for plenty of violence and strong language in spite of that, seemingly because they've tried to set the show with a dark style as seen in movies like Se7en or even Saw with less emphasis on the mystical aspect and more on fast action and bloody scenes to keep all ages begging for more episodes.
