With gorgeous surroundings and picture perfect weather all around them, the competitors of the latest season find Survivor: South Pacific still a rough go for most of the contestants. Sixteen are now castaways which are then split up into two separate tribes. The Upolu and the Savaii go back to Samoa (a previous site for Survivor) and are joined up by Benjamin Wade "Coach" and Oscar Lusth better known as "Ozzy". Coach and Ozzy then each draw an egg that contains either blue or red paint to determine which tribe they will join up with. Now the challenges (and rewards) will be handed out and let the best man, or woman, win the competition! Coach and his tribe members, which include Brandon, Albert, Rick, and Sophie must locate an immunity doll which is hidden somewhere. Christine finds herself with a target on her back and drops out of the competition for the elusive immunity doll. Ozzy finds the hidden doll and the back stabbing continues as Christine followed by Semhar are voted out of the games. As with each year's challenges they try to outdo the last season and viewers are amazed that anyone can survive!

Would you mind speed-dating in the jungle on self-made rafts sailing down the crocodile-infested river? If you like these adrenaline-stuffed romantic adventures you will probably be hooked by Love in the Wild. However, to say the truth, you will have to sufficiently lower the acceptable level of stupidity, ridiculousness and affectedness. Otherwise you will be a little bit surprised by how this TV show was made. The anticipated symbiosis of The Amazing Race and The Bachelor Pad turned out to be just a bunch of meaningless quests on pseudo-romantic substrate. The only thing that saves this show is the fact that producers seem to be not taking the entire stuff too seriously. For instance, who will take seriously somebody whining about person whining about ants? As for series rules there are lots of advantages to form a loyal couple. Even if you are finishing last, there is a good chance to stay in the game in case if some partners in other couple will broke up and will not find any other contestant to partner with. In this situation they will end up in the Single Area from where they, most likely, will be eliminated. Such breaking ups are happening from time to time just because betrayal could be advantageous too: not because you are falling in love with somebody from the other couple, but on case if last-place couple member will accept a switch request in order to secure staying in the game. In opposite to the actions taking in the show, the rules are only intriguing elements in Love in the Wild. But do not forget the surrounding nature -it's beautiful and, furthermore, it's filmed magnificently. And maybe it's only the advantage saving this dating reality TV show for the next seasons.

Stephen Spielberg and Tom Hanks already had saved Private Ryan and had shown the relatively tame exploits of a brotherly band in the Pacific Theater when they bravely took-on the challenge of recreating the bitter, brutal battles that made Pacific Islands household names in the darkest hours of World War II. Most Americans can trace the broad outlines of the Allies' liberation of Europe, but few can recall the highlights of American Marines' fierce struggles over "tiny specks of earth that we have never heard of." HBO's ten-part mini-series, "The Pacific," retrieves the war against Japan from the threshold of obscurity. Based on survivors' accounts of the battles, and rendered as vividly as the small screen will allow, "The Pacific" tracks three Marines' odysseys from Guadalcanal through Cape Gloucester to Peleliu and ultimately to the epic battle for Iwo Jima. Testifying to "The Pacific's" intense realism, the mini-series collected Emmy Awards for Art Direction, visual and sound effects. More amply testifying to "The Pacific's" overwhelming genius and power, however, the Television Academy awarded it the 2010 Emmy for Outstanding Mini-Series.

A TV sitcom that is shown on the Disney Channel, A.N.T. Farm begins with episode one's imaginative title, TransplANTed. Advanced Natural Talents (A.N.T.) are gifted program participants in middle school. The series centers on 11 year old Chyna Parks who is a musical prodigy who joins others her age with special natural gifts including Olive, who has perfect recall or an eidetic memory and Fletcher, who is an artistic genius with a serious crush on Chyna. There are those in school who are jealous of the gifted kids, especially Lexi who is the most "popular girl" and sees Chyna as competition for the most popular category (which Chyna could care less about). Chyna Parks is played by China Anne McClain from Tyler Perry's House of Payne. Sierra McCormick (Romantically Challenged, Medium) is Olive Doyle a girl who recalls everything she sees, hears, or reads. Jake Short (Dexter, Zeke & Luther) is Fletcher Pumpernickel Quimby, who is an artistic genius with a big time crush on Chyna. Lexi Reed is the selfish self-centered "it" girl in school who worries about competition from Chyna and is played by Stefanie Scott from The New Adventures of Old Christina and Sons of Tucson. Entertaining Disney style film with a good theme involved.

The writers at imdb.com go right to the point: When you tune in to "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," you "Watch the story of history's greatest gladiator unfold with graphic violence and explicit sex." What's not to like? Hunky heart-throb John Hannah plays Gannicus, "original champion of the House of Battiatus," who champions his own lusts and appetites at least as proficiently as he swings his sword. Astute observers might characterize Gannicus as the Brett Favre of the Roman Colliseum. If only texting on stone tablets weren't so clumsy, the messages would be the same. And, for legions of feminist fans who have missed Lucy Lawless's distinctive brand of butt-kicking girl power, her return to the small screen as Lucretia represents living proof there is justice in the world. This time, however, Lawless's character derives her slightly larger-than-life sexiness and skill from exquisite powers of observation and well-timed tugs on "the levers of power." If "The Good Wife" had a Roman prototype, Lucretia was she. According to the "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" web site, "Together, they will stop at nothing to deceive the masses, seize power, and bleed Capua dry."

As the story begins, Chuck is a twenty-something computer geek working at the Burbank, California, "Buy More" store. Chuck receives an e-mail from Bryce Larkin, his former Stanford roommate, who is now a CIA agent, allegedly a rogue. When Chuck opens and reads the e-mail, it embeds "The Intersect" a "neural super-computer" in his brain, making "Nerd Herd" guy the repository of all the CIA's intelligence information. The CIA dispatches Agent Sarah Walker, of course a beautiful blonde, to protect Chuck by posing as his girlfriend. Drama, action, and comedy ensue. The producers describe "Chuck" as an "action-comedy-drama" series. Originally NBC's lead-in to short-lived but monumentally popular "Heroes," "Chuck" has retained the look and feel of the warm-up act for the bigger talent; but the network has failed to deliver the headline act that would save poor "Chuck" from its life constantly on the threshold of cancellation. Critics complain that "Chuck," although clever and loaded with potential, never quite satisfies the requirements of action or comedy or drama, let alone hitting the trifecta. The series has survived largely on the strength of its cute-power and a core of exceptionally loyal fans who know how to use Twitter and Facebook.
