"Barry" is an American dark comedy television series that premiered on HBO in March 2018. The show follows the life of Barry Berkman, a former Marine turned hitman who travels to Los Angeles for a job and ends up becoming involved in the local theater scene. While in LA, Barry discovers a passion for acting and wants to leave his violent past behind, but struggles to do so as he is continually drawn back into the world of crime.

Hollywood Arts is the location for Tori Vega (played by Victoria Justice) as she aspires to be a singer even as she gets herself into a continuous string of screwball or downright silly situations. Tori takes her sister Trina's place in a big showcase put on by the high school called Hollywood Arts because it's a performing arts school. Her talents will be showcased as she learns acting, singing, and even dancing on the stage. Star of the show Victoria Justice is known for her rolls in several recent Nickelodeon features including The Boy Who Cried Werewolf and Zoey 101. Leon Thomas III (Rising Stars, Freak the Freak Out) plays Andre Harris who is a musician singer and songwriter and also is Tori's best friend. Robbie Shapiro is played by Matt Bennett (Michael & Michael Have Issues, iCarly) who is plagued by his own shyness and awkward nerdy ways but is determined to become a master ventriloquist. He often uses that talent to express himself. The youthful cast demonstrates how difficult it can be to fulfill their dreams of becoming successful in whatever type of "the fine arts" they have chosen to follow.

Returning to television as the star of ABC's "Mr. Sunshine," Matthew Perry faces two formidable challenges: First, he must out-grow, live-down, or crawl out of his intimate association with Chandler, his legendary "Friends" persona. Second, Perry and co-star Allison Janney must inspire their audience to forget "Mr. Sunshine" replaces Courtney Cox's hit "Cougar Town." Perry and Jenny benefit from writers' and producers' wonderfully quirky visions of their characters and unusual situation. Perry plays Ben, a character potentially as memorable as Chandler but with far greater depth and much richer melancholy mid-life undertones. Operations Manager of The Sunshine Center, a run-down San Diego arena, home of the circus and lingerie football, Ben learns on his fortieth birthday that his girlfriend is leaving him because he is so thoroughly self-involved he has no love left over for anyone else. Jenny plays Crystal, the arena's pill-popping owner who could become America's next favourite villain on the strength of her thinly veiled racism and despise of children, except that Jenny's consummate skill as an actress redeems her. One Los Angeles reviewer wisely concludes, "["Mr. Sunshine"] isn't perfect; and it won't change the landscape of comedic television right away, even though it's part of a game-changing three-hour comedy block for ABC. But it is taking all of the important steps in the right direction." If "Mr. Sunshine" seems a little wobbly at first, viewers should remember "Cougar Town's" first-episode identity crisis, allowing lots of latitude for Perry's and "Mr. Sunshine's" rapid evolution.

Emily Owens is "a fresh blood" in Denver Memorial Hospital where she just started to work. To her surprise, everyone in the Hospital is behaving like all the action takes place in a high school. But not only the action even a characters are the same: to her joy and awkward happiness - her med school classmate Dr. Will Collins (Emily had a crush on) works here too; as a bad thing to balance a good one "“ her school-time nemesis Cassandra Kopelson is hanging out nearby, looking ready to make Emily's life intolerable. However, our heroine manages to enlist the help of one of her mentors: Dr. Micah Barnes (Michael Rady), who oversees fresh interns and to befriend with first-year surgical resident Tyra Dupre (Kelly McCreary). Besides the awkward moments showcased in almost every scene where we see Emily, there is one only thing that makes everyone uncomfortable to watch Emily Owens M.D. "“ the idea of "what this clumsy young being is doing here, in real-life hospital, as the real-life doctor, who is definitely should be responsible for the lives of patients?" From the other hand, it's just a TV show and all that mess is made by actors by screenplay, and while the last one thing is questionable, first one (the ensemble cast) looks perfect. Main protagonist, Emily Owen, is portrayed by inimitable Mamie Gummer, while her "sweetheart" Dr. Will Collins is played by Justin Hartley (a star of Smallville).

"Crashing" is a TV series created by Pete Holmes that aired on HBO from 2017 to 2019. The show follows the life of a fictionalized version of Holmes, who is a struggling comedian trying to make a name for himself in the New York City stand-up comedy scene.

Those who ever watched Idioracy (2006) are aware of the future of television and the appearance of IFC's Bunk will not be in surprise for them. Rest of the people should know this kind of comedy reality series will be dominating till times when everyone would think it's normal to invent a new family-friendly look of David's genital on Michelangelo's masterpiece. Yes it was one of the idiotic contest of second episode of Bunk where two "professional" "comedians" (it's not a coincidence nor mistype that two of words are quoted) fight for ambiguous prizes like "Super Powers", "Universal Alibi" etc. performing silly tasks like "to shame a baby". The series was produced by Kurt Braunohler, an American comedian which is known to us by his roles in Delocated, The Heart, She Holler, Comedy at the Fringe, Jon Benjamin Has a Van and Comedy Lab.
