The next big thing in ABC family repertoire, a parenting comedy Baby Daddy, from the very first episode looks like Rising Hope and Three men and a Baby, mixed and stirred. If you are 18-34 years old women your chances to find this comedy entertaining are very high. Otherwise, if you are not belong to this target audience, we recommend you to not waste your time. Although the baby-girl (Emma) in Baby Daddy is very cute, this doubtfully compensates the flatness of acting and primitiveness of hijinks, all of them are revolving about unexpected pregnancy and baby's bodily functions. The background of the story is getting us from the very first episode. An aimless dude, Ben with his friend Tucker finds an infant at doorsteps of their small apartment which they share with Tucker's hockey-player brother Danny. The baby comes with the short note form Ben's former one-night-stand girlfriend. Ben decides to take a care of the child, hoping that his friends, Tucker and Danny alongside with his overbearing mother Bonnie (Melissa Peterman) and his school-friend Riley (Chelsea Kane) will help him with parenting functions. The main storyline is shadowed in some funny way by undercover intrigues taking a place between friends: Riley has a crush on Ben since the school-times, and Danny seems to be on the opposite apex of this love triangle.

And so does the original title which was Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea. The shows protagonist character, Chelsea Newman is based on Chelsea Handler and her friends who are a group of working class folks from New Jersey. The real Chelsea is Chelsea Joy Handler, a comedienne as well as TV talk show host who wrote the book. In this sitcom we find Laura Prepon (That 70's Show, October Road) playing the main role and even the real Chelsea Handler has a minor role as Sloane. Others include Jake McDorman (CSI: Miami, Greek) as Rick, Dee Dee is played by Lauren Lapkus (a stand up comedian and improvisationist), Melvin is portrayed by Lenny Clarke (Rescue Me, The John Larroquette Show), and as Olivia is Ali Wong from Breaking In, Chelsea Lately. Many of the characters are based on the book by Chelsea Handler and take place in the sports bar the character works. Expect to see plenty of outrageous behavior from this twenty something social group.

The Rehearsal is a docu-comedy television series created, written, directed by and starring Nathan Fielder. The show premiered on HBO in July 2022 and quickly received critical acclaim. In August of the same year, HBO announced that the series would be renewed for a second season.

Dee, Dennis, Charlie, and Mac are four "twenty something" friends who run a local pub in Philadelphia. They find it a struggle to keep their bar open and always challenging to make ends meet. But humor keeps them going and often it's the darkest of humor that works best for these four friends. The show is extremely popular due mostly to great writing and a talented cast. The one liners and story lines are so off the wall they are not even something that writers for the Seinfeld series would have proposed to use. But in this particular premise"¦ it simply works beautifully! An Irish pub in the heart of Philly is the background for egocentric friendships among these four who are barely into adulthood, so each finds a way to get themselves into trouble. The one adult on the scene is Frank Reynolds, ably portrayed by Danny DeVito (Get Shorty, War of the Roses) and if you've ever watched him at work you can see how the four pub owners have problems with "the blind leading the blind". Hilariously funny and well written.

Tacoma FD is an American comedy television series that premiered on truTV in March 2019. The show follows a group of firefighters working in a fire station in Tacoma, Washington, who are constantly trying to find ways to keep themselves entertained while also maintaining their professionalism. The series was created by Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, who also star in the show as the two main characters, Chief Terry McConky and Captain Eddie Penisi.

Returning to television as the star of ABC's "Mr. Sunshine," Matthew Perry faces two formidable challenges: First, he must out-grow, live-down, or crawl out of his intimate association with Chandler, his legendary "Friends" persona. Second, Perry and co-star Allison Janney must inspire their audience to forget "Mr. Sunshine" replaces Courtney Cox's hit "Cougar Town." Perry and Jenny benefit from writers' and producers' wonderfully quirky visions of their characters and unusual situation. Perry plays Ben, a character potentially as memorable as Chandler but with far greater depth and much richer melancholy mid-life undertones. Operations Manager of The Sunshine Center, a run-down San Diego arena, home of the circus and lingerie football, Ben learns on his fortieth birthday that his girlfriend is leaving him because he is so thoroughly self-involved he has no love left over for anyone else. Jenny plays Crystal, the arena's pill-popping owner who could become America's next favourite villain on the strength of her thinly veiled racism and despise of children, except that Jenny's consummate skill as an actress redeems her. One Los Angeles reviewer wisely concludes, "["Mr. Sunshine"] isn't perfect; and it won't change the landscape of comedic television right away, even though it's part of a game-changing three-hour comedy block for ABC. But it is taking all of the important steps in the right direction." If "Mr. Sunshine" seems a little wobbly at first, viewers should remember "Cougar Town's" first-episode identity crisis, allowing lots of latitude for Perry's and "Mr. Sunshine's" rapid evolution.
