"History of the World, Part II" is a 1981 American film that parodies historical events from the Old Testament through to the French Revolution. The movie is a sequel to the 1981 film "History of the World, Part I" but the second part was never made.

"Flight of the Conchords" is a television series that aired on HBO from 2007 to 2009. The show follows the lives of two New Zealand musicians, Jemaine and Bret, as they try to make it in the music industry in New York City. The show combines elements of comedy and music, as Jemaine and Bret frequently break into song during the episodes.

If you have missed a chance to be hooked up with Gilmore Gilrs, the new ABC's dramedy Bunheads is exactly what you need. The first episode of Bunheads has left such a feeling that if there were a little bit more of GG-like moments in Bunheads, the CW lawyers would inevitably file the suit against ABC. And that is not surprisingly taking into consideration the fact that the TV show was created by the same Amy Sherman-Palladino who created splendid Gilmore Gilrs. It is felt throughout the sharp dialogs, giddy repartees, deeply portrayed personalities and perfectly constructed dance scenes. The astonishing dancing ingredient of the Bunheads, is of course not only the personal merit of Sherman-Palladino, but Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop. Both of them have quite serious dancing background. Another Sutton's and Kelly's merit is drollery atmosphere which these two awesome women create around themselves. Kelly plays Fanny Flowers, a small town dance studio owner, while Sutton portrays Michelle Simms, a cute dancer being caught in the lower point of the career, when series of questionable decisions had led her out of Las Vegas dancing scenes to small rural town Paradise, California where she met Fanny. There are more pry personalities in the series like talented and perfectly shaped Sasha (Julia Goldani Telles) and purposeful Bettina, aka Boo (Kaitlyn Jenkins). All the characters feature inexpressible chemistry between each other, and the spirit of the show is sweet, pleasurable and cuddlesome.

Kenny Powers can play baseball with the best of them but when his career as a professional pitcher is on the downslide he decides to go back home to Shelby, North Carolina and become a physical education teacher. Some may wonder where those coaches come from and this might be a clue. Plenty of pro athletes return to their roots when they find there are only so many positions to go around and lots of excellent potential superstars to fill them. Helping mold and train those brilliant young athletes is what coaching is all about and Kenny Powers plans on doing his best to help build the best. Danny McBride stars as Powers and this Will Ferrell produced television show made for HBO is excellent programming that shows the difficulty and rewards of becoming the best that you can be. The trip back to his middle school and home town give this burned out ball player a new lease on life and is an inspiration for young athletes and physical education in general.

Terriers TV Show, a detective comedy, tells the story about an ex-cop Hank Dolworth, (Donal Logue) and how he deals with divorce, getting fired and getting sober. Hank pairs up with his best friend Britt Pollack (Michael Raymond James), a reformed small time crook to form an unlicensed Private Investigation Agency in San Diego. Together they set out hoping to solve crimes while trying to stay as far from danger as possible while assuming little to no responsibility. Terriers show you how one man's pursuit to a fresh start can be more difficult than planned. So follow this unlikely duo and learn why it is no surprise that they feel they resemble terriers...

The serene suburb of Kansas City, Kansas called Overland Park is the setting for a Showtime hit called United States of Tara which follows the life of Tara Gregson. She is a wife and mother of two who doctors have diagnosed as having dissociative identity disorder. She has multiple personalities that she transitions into when severely stressed. She may become a flirty teen who calls herself "T" or Alice who is a housewife straight out of the 1950's. She may turn into a beer swilling, loud male she calls Vietnam Vet Buck when particularly pressured or even displaying a fourth personality who goes by the name of Gimme. Multiple personalities are uncontrollable and can't be chosen but just happen when she is in a weak moment or facing problems difficult to cope with. Tara does have the support of son and daughter as well as her husband, Max. Charmaine, her doubting sister, sometimes thinks Tara is faking it for sympathy reasons. This intriguing show follows her various personality changes and how they affect the family unit.
