Fallout Season 2 returns to the retro-futuristic wasteland of Amazon's hit adaptation of the beloved video-game franchise, picking up as vault dweller Lucy (Ella Purnell), the ghoulish bounty hunter Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins) and Brotherhood of Steel aspirant Maximus (Aaron Moten) push deeper into a post-nuclear America two centuries after the bombs fell. Showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet return, with Jonathan Nolan again among the executive producers.
The season's biggest move is geographic: the story travels to New Vegas, the neon-lit gambling city at the heart of the fan-favorite game Fallout: New Vegas. Justin Theroux joins as Robert House, the enigmatic ruler of New Vegas and CEO of RobCo Industries, drawing the series into one of the richest corners of the games' mythology as Lucy's search for her father collides with the city's ruthless power struggles.
Premiering December 16, 2025 and rolling out weekly into early 2026, the eight-episode season arrived with Season 1's goodwill intact — the show had already earned a third-season renewal and near-universal acclaim. Filmed largely around Los Angeles, the production recreated the New Vegas Strip on a scale that let it honor the games' distinctive blend of Americana, dark comedy and apocalyptic dread.
