The series reunites the two filmmakers behind the 1991 movie in a new capacity: Martin Scorsese, who directed that film, and Steven Spielberg, whose company developed it, both serve as executive producers on the show.
Javier Bardem takes on the role of Max Cady, previously played by Robert Mitchum in 1962 and by Robert De Niro in an Oscar-nominated turn in 1991, reinterpreting one of the screen's most famous stalkers.
