The show's premise is that the contestant is not trying to win big bucks or great prizes for themselves but rather for someone they care about, someone who deserves a reward. The true winners in this game show may well be us, the viewing audience! The Pay it Forward concept has become a movement lately with people paying off lay away bills for complete strangers and many more than usual buying gifts for children and adults who would otherwise have a bleak holiday season. This trivia game show finds one contestant per show answering trivial but challenging questions and their reward is making someone else happy. The contestant has chosen a recipient based on their needs. The first episode finds a young woman named Stacey who plays the game hoping to win money for her best friend. The friend, a mother of two, has recently lost her husband. This selfless act of kindness can bring us all to tears as we watch her win for her deserving friend. Not just another game show but rather an uplifting emotional study in human nature.

"Big Brother" numbers among those long-running (unreal) reality shows that keep rolling along on their own momentum long after the thrills have gone. Originally adapted from a popular Dutch series, "Big Brother" puts thirteen carefully chosen strangers in a house heavily wired with cameras and microphones, capturing every word, gesture, and nuance. The producers challenge their "guests" to complete a series of physical and mental "stunts," periodically polling their feelings about who among them should go home. The one guest who stays longest goes home with half-a-million American dollars. Although "Big Brother's" novelty has faded, even the most stony-hearted and cynical critics must accord the superannuated series its props: When an online streaming service attempted a similarly contrived "residential situation," capitalizing on the industry's newest, most sophisticated audio and video technology, it faded to black in less than a month. At the other end of the scale, when MTV adapted "Big Brother's" premise for use along the New Jersey coastline, it became a cultural phenomenon, and "Snooki" became a household word. Clearly, it's not the premise but the chemistry that determines the show's fate. Therefore, credit "Big Brother" with good chemistry and agree to roll along with the momentum.

Jennifer (Williams) defends her right to put on a new face for the latest season's shows and makes a vow to rise above all of that drama we see on the show. Shaunie (O'Neal) has a rather dramatic turn of events surrounding her latest birthday bash. Meanwhile, Evelyn (Lozada) has her own blog and tries to explain why laughing at Kenya Bell's boring speech is absolutely rude! Suzie (Ketcham) discusses food stamps and comments on her dramatic turn of events with Jennifer (Williams), blaming her attitude on alcohol (not that any of these fine ladies hit the bottle)! Lets hope they keep all this drama in the proper perspective, and the show keeps on fascinating many of us viewers!

"The Lost Kitchen" is a cooking show that airs on Discovery+ and is hosted by chef Erin French. The show takes place in a small town in Maine, where Erin's restaurant, The Lost Kitchen, is located. Each episode focuses on a different local ingredient and highlights the unique culinary traditions and stories of the community.

What happens if you hybridize The Amazing Race and Top Chef? There are two possible answers: "nothing good" and "Around The World in 80 Plates". And you know, both of them are true. But, please, don't get us wrong. It's not just another Bravo's disastrous TV show; it's just a cooking reality show, which is not about the cooking. How is it possible? With ease, here we have to lift the curtain off the series' plot. First of all, you have to imagine three clueless chefs walking down the streets of London, doing the classic "pub crawl" and pretending the "drunk Americans". It's pathetic scene, you know. But who are those unfortunate souls? Meet Keven Lee, or how he calls himself Cheven (mix of Chef and Kevin). He represents one of the endangered species of Hollywood private chefs. The next one is Chazz, his real name Chaz Brown from Voorhees, New Jersey, who is repeatedly semi-shocking us with his British accent, that's why it would be better if he kept silence all the show long. Our list would not be completed if we haven't mentioned the Tex-Mex half-naked chief Sai Pituk from Texas, who surprisingly said the she cooks Asian cuisine only. There are another nine contestants participating, that makes total twelve. The television show is divided into two parts. In the first part all of the participants are performing something like scavenger hunt in the uncommon environment of foreign culinary culture (you have to ideate the picture of dozen Americans wander the rows of Borough market; it's must be funny, isn't it?). In the second part of each episode the contestants have to cook (finally!) the local dishes which their tasted in the first part, and as a bisque, the winning team (those who won the "scavenger hunt") gets one secret ingredient, which will be in great help in the "cooking" part. That is most amusing part of the "Around The World in 80 Plates" because judges are the locals, and you should see their faces when they taste black pudding hash cooked by Americans.

It must be painfully difficult to be the first eliminated on shows like Bachelor Pad! Not only is that coveted prize of $250,000 taken away but it has to be absolutely embarrassing to be booted off such a tacky show, right? Well actually this is one reality show that has something to offer in the way of entertainment quality. The competition on Bachelor Pad comes from men and women who have previously been seen on former episodes of The Bachelor as well as The Bachelorette, two other competition style reality game programs, originating on the ABC network. On Bachelor Pad each contestant casts their individual private vote for one of the other contestants. They vote for who they want to see eliminated and each week the person with the most votes will be out of the competition. And that competition can be tough! Challenges that culminate with ballroom dancing (like on Dancing With the Stars) pare down the competitors as well as dates that can drive one to distraction! Finalists either become close companions or else go their separate ways and must decide to split the prize money or share it with the others who have already been eliminated.
