The Warrior's Way" challenges: Can you survive the love to get to the action?... Who wouldn't want to see Kate Bosworth playing a bad-girl knife thrower in a ninja movie? After all, late adolescent boys can live on reruns of "Blue Crush" for only so long. In "The Warrior's Way" movie, Dong-gun Jang stars as a ninja assassin—reputedly "the world's greatest swordsman"-- grown weary of his deadly craft. When the assassin turns down an assignment, his warrior clan expresses its displeasure by ordering him killed. Naturally, the swordsman seeks sanctuary in the American badlands, where the locals will hardly notice a Korean newcomer in town. Just as naturally, the newcomer falls in love with the knife-thrower and befriends the town drunk—happens every day in the Dakotas. Naturally, the three of them save the swordsman and their town, and audiences may assume they Ginsu happily ever after. After pre-release screenings of "The Warrior's Way" movie audiences generally agreed with the reviewer who said, "If you can bear the hour of 'love story' and the bad acting that goes with it, you can get to some really fun action scenes. Some awesome effects and fighting will jolt you from much of the boredom." When it's all over, "The Warrior's Way" leaves the average guy wondering, "How much do I really like Kate Bosworth?"

Revival of predation franchise, announced by Robert Rodriguez, featuring in The Losers as a writer and producer, became not so spectacular as it was waiting for. For the movie directed by Nimrod Antal we are expecting something more than running through the woods in the style of "Rambo: First Blood" and in a spirit of divination "who will die next." The maximum that allowed himself to Rodriguez is sadly growing number of corpses, a little red and green blood and uncertain statement that predators are the people themselves, supported by a quote from Hemingway. Statement by the way, in this case, is little bit controversial, since a good half of the time most of the earthlings saves and covers each other: like in the best tradition of some honest and not always exciting team play.

The Batman is a 2022 American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. The film is a reboot of the Batman film franchise, directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig. Robert Pattinson stars as Bruce Wayne / Batman. The film follows Batman, who has been fighting crime in Gotham City for two years, uncovering corruption while pursuing the Riddler, a serial killer who targets Gotham's elite. The film development began after Ben Affleck was cast as Batman in the DC Extended Universe in 2013. But Affleck dropped out and Reeves took over. Filming began in the United Kingdom in January 2020, but was halted by the COVID-19 pandemic and it resumed later in the year and concluded in Chicago in March 2021. The film was a commercial success, grossing over $770 million against a $185–200 million budget, received positive reviews from critics and it's intended to launch a Batman shared universe, with two sequels planned and two spin-off television series in development for HBO Max. In August 2013, Ben Affleck was cast as Bruce Wayne / Batman for multiple films in the DC Extended Universe. He made his debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016) and Justice League (2017). In October 2014, Warner Bros announced plans for a standalone Batman film starring Affleck, he was in negotiations to direct and co-write the screenplay with Geoff Johns by July 2015. But Affleck had reservations about directing the film and announced in January 2017 that he was stepping down as the director but still planned to star and produce. The film was put on hold due to the re-evaluation of Warner Bros approach to superhero films after the release of Batman v Superman. The film highlights that Batman's wealth does not alleviate his suffering and explores the idea that he should be more philanthropic. It also explores grief, trauma and the "horror" of living with post-traumatic stress disorder through Batman's character. The film also shows a different relationship between Batman and the police, with them viewing him as a criminal and a level of oversight they're not used to dealing with. This aspect of the film is considered "timely" given the contemporary American sociopolitical context including increased awareness of police brutality.

James Cameron returns to the sea, showing in three dimensions how a deep-sea cave-diving team descends into a previously unexplored cave system—the largest, most beautiful, most complex, and least accessible on Earth. There, explorers suddenly face the challenge to become survivors. Adapted from the real-life adventure of the screenplay's co-writer, Andrew Wight, Sanctum movie pays homage to the ocean's sublimity before it tears the mask off its monumental power. Richard Roxburgh, suitably daring and dashing, plays expedition leader Frank McGuire, who skillfully leads the team through months of exploration until a tropical storm cuts-off their exit, forcing them deeper into the caves in search of an escape. Struggling against raging water, short supplies, and inchoate terror, McGuire, his son Josh, and prominent financier Carl Hurley must make their way through a magnificent and menacing maze hoping against hope they will survive. Cameron had to work his magic on a relatively modest $30million budget, but director Alister Grierson and cinematographer Jules O'Loughlin bring out the best in the fine ensemble cast and make the most of Mother Nature's dramatic setting.

"Superman II" is a 1980 superhero film directed by Richard Lester and starring Christopher Reeve as Superman. The film is a sequel to "Superman" (1978) and sees Superman facing off against a trio of Kryptonian criminals who were exiled to the Phantom Zone. The film was originally directed by Richard Donner, but he was replaced by Lester during production. Donner's original footage was later used in a "Richard Donner Cut" released in 2006.

Times when even heroes occasionally had to put up with ne'er do well brothers who never seem to learn right from wrong. James Franco (as Prince Fabious) and Danny McBride (as weak willed brother Thadeous) pair up to defeat evil and save their realm, a fantasy land called Your Highness. When the Prince known as Fabious's bride is stolen he sets out to rescue her from her kidnappers and the ever lazy and useless Thadeous follows along to help. The future princess Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel) awaits her fate as the bumbling brothers strive to save the day.
