It should come as no surprise that if something is financially successful it will be repeated. That is especially true with feature films. Star Trek into Darkness is the twelfth film in the Star Trek franchise, and the second one in the contemporary saga of Star Trek directed by J.J. Abrams. When Captain Kirk and his team approach the Earth they see unspeakable destruction made by the invaders of internal origin. The Starfleet is under a violent attack and the real purpose of the attackers' interests is unknown. Star Trek into Darkness is shot as a 2D movie, and then converted to 3D format. The film also features 9 minutes of the high-end action scenes that were shot by IMAX cameras. As for ensemble cast – in 2013's Star Trek into Darkness we enjoy the play of all the actors of previous Star Trek, excluding the villain roles, of course. The leading antagonistic role of Khan, was taken by Benedict Cumberbatch who may be known to you by his roles in The Hobbit saga of 2012-2014 as Necromancer and, what is more remarkably as Sherlock Holmes in the extremely popular British television series of the same name. As for Enterprise crew we see familiar faces: Chris Pine (Rise of the Guardians, People Like Us, This Means War) as James T. Kirk, Zachary Quinto (The Invitation, What's Your Number?, Margin Call) as Spock and Zoe Saldana (Avater, Out of the Furnace, Nina) as Nyota Uhura.

However, it takes one Nicolas Cage teamed up with beautiful and sexy Malin Akerman to prove otherwise. That's a briefly represented storyline of Simon West's action thriller Stolen filmed and realized in 2012. The movie centers on Will Montgomery (Nicolas Cage), an unlucky thief, who is sentenced in jail for 10 years being caught on robbery, went awry. His criminal partners are very interested in ten millions of dollars which they believe Will concealed after the last job. To make Will convinced that he owes this money to his friend, they've kidnapped his daughter upon Will's release from prison. In order to secure their goals, gangsters have locked the girl (Sami Gayle) in cab's soundproof trunk somewhere in the midst of Mardi Gras making her impossible to find. .. for anyone, but not for Nicolas Cage. The problem is that Will doesn't have ten millions USD. Furthermore FBI Investigator (Kyle Russell Clements) and FBI Surveillance Agent (Mustafa Harris) are scouring the trails of key characters of this affair.

Centurion movie plot is set in 117 AD and tells a story of the only person who survived the Picts raid on the Roman fortress. The main character, Quintus Diaz with the legendary Ninth Legion, he goes north to wipe out the Picts and kill their leader Gorlacon. When the legion of stepping on the hostile territory and General Virilus is captured, Quintus has to save his small troop to escape persecution at the Pictish tribe on the unfriendly land and safely reach the Roman frontier. "Centurion" tells all the same story as most movies of that kind, but the author proves the theory is no longer on the characters, but once the viewer. Throughout the half hour you are watching something like a gladiatorial carnage, where there is no division into "good" and "bad". Suddenly you find yourself in the empathy with crazy antagonist blood lusting female but not the "friendly" Romans. It is about banal bloodlust, concealed in the heart of almost every human individual.

"Superman Returns" is a 2006 superhero film directed by Bryan Singer and stars Brandon Routh as Superman. The film is set five years after the events of "Superman II" and ignores the events of "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace". Superman returns to Earth after a five-year absence to find that Lois Lane has moved on with her life and has a child. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is plotting to create a new continent using Kryptonian technology, which would cause massive destruction to the world.

A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installation of Die Hard franchise with Bruce Willis in leading role. The movie revolves around McClane's son who finds himself in troubles in Russia and his father who immediately hits the road to rescue the son from these troubles. But, as it happens, these troubles are just a top of the iceberg, the main troubles are ahead. When McClane steps on the Russia ground he realizes that it was the twisted plot implemented by Russian terrorists to get him caught upon the arrival. However, the situation is not so simple. Russian special forces are standing behind this turmoil have their own plans and McClane's capturing is just a part of these plans. This part, however turns to be unexpectedly hard one… which mean that explosions, endless alternating of action scenes, shotgun fire, detonating buildings and agonizing bad guys (all that stuff that we like so much in Die Hard franchise) are just a question of time. May be the plot is too classic and happy end is too predictable as well, but this is some kind of proven formula that works too good to be replaced with something else. Another "sweet" thing in the movie is Russian antagonist: Irina, a role performed by Juliya Snigir. And, if you wonder why this thing "sweet", you seem to be clueless who Juliya Snigir is – if so, just google her in Google Images with "Safe mode Off" – to learn what it does it mean.
