In a small silent American city five are shot dead. The local policemen make a rapid investigation and quickly arrest the culprit. It seems like everything is clear and the case is closed. But the guy accused in five death makes a strange declaration in front of cameras "Get Jack Reacher", claiming himself innocent. The crystal clear case turns out to be a complicated chain of events, when Reacher, who saw the accused man's request, heads to the city in order to restore the justice. The movie is solely based on Lee Child's series of novels about the giant military professional Jack Reacher. In the Christopher McQuarrie's movie Jack is portrayed by Tom Cruise. Although Cruise is not as tall as Jack Reacher described in Lee Child's books, he manages the role in very persuasive way. Furthermore, Tom looks perfectly adequate for the role of Reacher, mostly because we are to accustomed to his previous roles as special agents or military professionals in the movies like Valkyrie, Knight and Day, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.

Predators movie of the 2010 is better than you can describe that! Perhaps, after "Avatar" released in late 2009 is the first movie that you want to watch and not look the clock, even when it ends. This is absolutely amazing. So if there is still someone else who is able to film it again it is necessary to make it in 3D to collect at least some cash. Action is taken in the best traditions of the genre. History is absolutely competent, not far-fetched. All genre standards are met, and it does not seem secondary. This is absolutely original, beautiful movie, which you can watch without knowing the history of the first "Predator". Although, it features many references to the first "Predator": A Memoir of Guatemala, the skull "outsiders" are present in the parking lot of hunters of prey. Movie definitely made with love to its roots and to the genre as well.

Some of us may remember 300 where Gerard Butler played King Leonidas. As for President Benjamin Asher, Aaron Eckhart (Rabbit Hole, Love Happens, The Dark Knight) secured this role in 2012. Morgan Freeman also stars in the movie as Speaker Trumbull, a man behind the curtain, who took the power when the President was kidnapped.

Both young men look younger than their years and with less than perfect reputations find they have the opportunity to make up for their past by becoming police officers and fighting perps that would lead teens into drugs and corruption. In other words just like the 80's version but with different players.
