Chicago is a 2002 American musical crime comedy-drama film directed by Rob Marshall and based on the 1975 Broadway musical of the same name. The movie tells the story of Roxie Hart, a young woman in 1920s Chicago who dreams of becoming a star. When she is arrested for murder, Roxie hires a slick lawyer named Billy Flynn to represent her in court. As her case gains media attention, Roxie's fame skyrockets, but her relationship with Flynn becomes increasingly strained.

Just imagine New Year's Eve-alike movie, but filled full of vulgar jokes. Just for example Hugh Jackman (Les Misérables, Rise of the Guardians, X-Men: First Class, Real Steel) is playing a dude with genitals located exactly under his chin, while Richard Gere (Arbitrage, The Double, Pretty Woman) alongside with Kate Bosworth (Homefront, Big Sur, Another Happy Day) heroine learning about i-Babe device helping couples to keep devotion and not to cheat on each other. By the way Gerard Butler (Dynamo, Thunder Run, Hunter Killer, Olympus Has Fallen) plays Chaun, who is nothing but ribald Leprechaun.

Although it was too expensive to actually film Midnight in Paris in Paris the film retains the premise of a family spending time there. While traveling to Paris, the French capital city known for being romantic and alluring, a family plans on spending time there together. A young couple, engaged and confused about life come to learn that there just may be a different life to be offered and it's even better than what they have going.Director Woody Allen wanted to film in Paris back in 2006 but changed his mind when it became obvious it would be too costly. His choices in cast members was spot on and the results is one of the brightest and funniest romantic comedies in recent history. Owen Wilson (Marley & Me, Little Fockers), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes, Morning Glory), Adrien Brody (The Experiment, Predators), and Cathy Bates (Harry's Law, Fried Green Tomatoes) head up a talented cast that keeps this comic romp moving along as they fine their way around in the bright lights of Paris."

Sure, the agonizing choice between love and money is a staple in the rom-com genre. After all, what sustains Jane Austen's perennial popularity more than her poignant, insightful portrayals of sweet young things torn between desire for love and need for thousands-a-month? We do not, however, often see men in the same dilemma, so Arthur strongly suggests that some bois may have hearts after all. Well, underneath the profligacy and playboy stuff, bois may have hearts. In Arthur, the title character must decide between preserving his inheritance by acquiescing in an arranged marriage or protecting his heart by staying with the woman he truly loves. Naturally, no spoilers required. "Yes, this year's Arthur is a remake of the Dudley Moore classic; you may compare and contrast at your leisure. With Russell Brand and Jennifer Garner filling the screen, the old story has a whole new look, feel, and flavour. And with Helen Mirren playing Hobson, the adult supervision, aka Arthur's devoted caretaker and confidante, we get just the right measure of gravitas to keep the funny and ironic parts truly funny and ironic.

Long title but somewhat short minded concept that seeks to show what might be best to do if, and when, the world comes to an end as we know it. Everyone knows the world will be coming to an abrupt end one of these days, probably sooner than later at the rate it's going now. But who's to say exactly how we should best spend our remaining days and hours? To each his own! Will romance be the goal and the ultimate end for dorky guys who salivate over cool chicks with whom they would otherwise never stand a snowballs chance with? Who would go to work and put in the best they can if the end is inevitably near? Why bother to even begin to try to impress others when it doesn't matter anyhow? Steve Carell (Crazy Stupid Love, The Office) is Dodge, a neighbor and friend of Penny (Keira Knightley from Atonement, Silk). The two of them team up after Dodge's wife runs off in a state of panic (who knows how we'll react?). They are in search of Dodge's high school sweetheart even though Penny severely cramps his style. Also starring are Patton Oswalt, Gillian Jacobs, and Connie Britton.

Think of Prom as High School Musical with heavy doses of teen-aged angst. If you read only that description, you easily could conclude Prom dramatizes debutantes' struggles with mascara and up-dos. To her everlasting credit, Aimee Teegarden, veteran of heavy high school drama in "Friday Night Lights," goes a long way toward redeeming Prom from its awkward identity crisis. With a properly delicate and ironic touch, Ms. Teegarden effectively captures every sophisticated senior's inchoate recognition that "valedictory" means farewell and "commencement" is a synonym for "see ya." "Nova, Ms. Teegarden's allegorically named character, recognizes her pet antagonist probably is the ideal prom date, heavy on the fun factor and devoted to keeping rented tuxedos and poofy dresses in perspective. The unlikely pair contrasts sharply with Mei and Tyler, swept-away sweethearts, who wrestle with conscience and logistics as they work to wring every last micro-gram of meaning and romance from "the biggest night of their lives.""Set for release the last weekend of April, 2011, Prom may or may not set the tone for the Class of 2011's dining and dancing extravaganzas, but it surely will provide invaluable fashion and etiquette tips.
