Jason Statham stars as Arthur Bishop, "mechanic" supreme. Of course, "mechanic" is bad-guy talk for the professional assassin who comes to fix your problem and generally tune-up your operation by striking terror into the hearts of your bad-guy rivals. The Mechanic, then, implies that in a world full of amateurish shooters, Arthur Bishop stands out as the consummate professional. In fact, Bishop lives and works by a strict code—precise, detached, professional, and perfectionist; in other words, Bishop delivers all the qualities anyone could wish or want in a fine mechanic."Donald Sutherland plays Harry, Bishop's friend and mentor; and then he dies. Assassinated. Not surprisingly, Bishop feels compelled and honor bound to avenge Harry's murder; but in all of his careful calculations, Bishop fails to factor-in Steve, Harry's son, who shares Bishop's desire for revenge and who brings beginner's enthusiasm to the business of learning his father's business. Of course, sinister stealth, insidious machinations, and high explosives complicate the would-be assassins' quest; and, as the promos proclaim, "those hired to fix problems become problems themselves." The Mechanic would qualify for your list of "standard guy stuff," except that it has a liberal dose of heart.

Hughes brothers exploit a very specific niche of "commercial cinema for nerds" filmed The Book of Eli, a western about the Second Coming. You haven't even know that Eli is the God in Aramaic, and generally have at least a minimal understanding of sacred texts. Simplicity and clarity of massage of the movie makes us expecting some more complex content. Especially because the atmosphere and style of the film is beyond any praises. They succeeded to create really juicy and truthful post-apocalyptic world, which filled with the atmosphere of despair, echoing, resonating basses and shot with the cold spectrum filters. A character of Washington is so cool in his calm relaxed state that somehow you really begin to believe that good actually has fists.

A beautiful female double agent, along with her evil employer, are attempting to seize the French throne while inciting war in Europe so the Musketeers must act quickly to prevent the mayhem.Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil: Afterlife) portrays Milady de Winter and Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest) as the Duke of Buckingham are the villains who would love to take over Europe and the rest of the world as well. Look for plenty of entertaining action and comedy when The Three Musketeers comes to the big screen in 3D soon."

Man of Steel is the next one in a long row of reboots which shook the film industry in 2012-2013. Following the year after Marc Webb's The Amazing Spiderman - Zack Snyder's Man of Steel is the not just the next Superman franchise reboot – it is the great milestone in a history of entire world cinematograph. Produced by Christopher Nolan the creator of unparalleled Inception, Man of Steel tells the same story as his 25-years old predecessor but with enormous (even for 2013) budget around 200,000,000 USD. Filmed in Plano, Illinois the movie at the same time uses Chicago and Vancouver as backdrops. The huge budget mostly dictated by enchanting ensemble of the cast and incredible 3D which is reported to be much more sophisticated than everything you could watch before. In case of Man of Steel it's a venture without a risk: as the Superman is known to almost everyone on Earth, and there are three major target audiences that eager to watch it. First of all, it's new generation that heard of Superman a lot, and watched numerous TV series and spoofs. The second, there is the generation that remembers Ilya Salkind's Superman. And third one is the oldest audience, who have read DC comics itself and bring their children (second generation audience) to the cinema to show them first Superman movie. So we have there a winning marketing strategy combined with most advanced CGI as it is at 2013. What about the actors? We'll see Arnold Schwarzenegger with shotgun blowing out enemies brains; we'll see him with monstrous machine gun doing the same, etc. Furthermore, aside of these "special features" we will se definitely brilliant cast of actors: Rodrigo Santoro, Zach Gilford, Genesis Rodriguez, Forest Whitaker, Jaimie Alexander, Eduardo Noriega, Luis Guzmán, Johnny Knoxville – an exciting list, isn't it? However the most serious thing you need to know that this movie is the first American action film directed by Kim Ji-woon, a talented Korean cinematographer, worldwide known for his masterpieces: "The Good, the Bad, the Weird", "A Bittersweet Life" and "I Saw the Devil."
