Description

Justice League is a 2017 American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, from a story by Terrio and Snyder. It features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, and Ray Fisher. In the film, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg after Superman's death to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.

Justice League had a troubled production. Snyder stepped down during post-production following the death of his daughter, with Whedon being brought in to oversee reshoots and completion. Whedon then rewrote much of the film and directed additional reshoots, causing a significant change in tone and visual effects. Snyder remained credited as the director and received sole credit for the screenplay, while Whedon received a screenplay credit.

The film was released on November 17, 2017, in the United States, grossing $657 million worldwide against a production budget of $300 million. It received mixed reviews from critics, with criticism aimed at the inconsistent tone, underdeveloped characters, and the overuse of CGI. Justice League was intended to be the first part of a two-part series, with a cliffhanger ending that sets up the sequel. However, due to the film's underwhelming performance, the sequel was canceled, and Warner Bros. refocused on standalone films for the DC Extended Universe.

Hughes brothers exploit a very specific niche of "commercial cinema for nerds" filmed The Book of Eli, a western about the Second Coming. You haven't even know that Eli is the God in Aramaic, and generally have at least a minimal understanding of sacred texts. Daniel Lugo and Adrian Doorbal are undistinguished bodybuilders, working as coaches in Sun Gym. They are sick and tired of their poor and unpromising life. At one day Daniel Lugo was enlightened by the "brilliant" idea: to kidnap a rich and spoiled local businessman, Victor Kershaw, a prosperous client of Sun Gym. The plot was easy: to torture Victor as long as it will be in need to make him signing his capital over to the "Sun Gym Gang" as their call themselves. To make the tortures more "impressive", the gang enlists the help of Paul Doyle, a monstrous criminal who was recently released from jail. Pain & Gain director Michael Bay has managed to gather an extraordinary cast in his movie Paul Doyle is played by Dwayne Johnson, a big guy from WWE who starred in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2 and 3), Snitch, Faster and The Other Guys. Mark Wahlberg (Broken City, Ted, Date Night, The Happening) also stars in Pain & Gain as Daniel Lugo, while Anthony Mackie (Gangster Squad, Real Steel, The Fighter, The Departed) is Adrian Doorbal. You may find interesting the fact that Pain & Gain was filmed after the real-life story about real Sun Gym Gang: both of them, Adrian Doorbal and Adrian Doorbal were sentenced for the electric chair in Florida. This time they are awaiting their fate in Florida's death row.

According to Oliver Stone, in the 1990s, film became the literature of the age. In 2011, driven by a fetish for "CG integration," Hollywood adopted the comic book as its model of choice. Not "the graphic novel," which has a slightly more elevated ring to it. No. The comic book. James Cameron returns to the sea, showing in three dimensions how a deep-sea cave-diving team descends into a previously unexplored cave system—the largest, most beautiful, most complex, and least accessible on Earth. There, explorers suddenly face the challenge to become survivors. Adapted from the real-life adventure of the screenplay's co-writer, Andrew Wight, Sanctum movie pays homage to the ocean's sublimity before it tears the mask off its monumental power. Richard Roxburgh, suitably daring and dashing, plays expedition leader Frank McGuire, who skillfully leads the team through months of exploration until a tropical storm cuts-off their exit, forcing them deeper into the caves in search of an escape. Struggling against raging water, short supplies, and inchoate terror, McGuire, his son Josh, and prominent financier Carl Hurley must make their way through a magnificent and menacing maze hoping against hope they will survive. Cameron had to work his magic on a relatively modest $30million budget, but director Alister Grierson and cinematographer Jules O'Loughlin bring out the best in the fine ensemble cast and make the most of Mother Nature's dramatic setting.

But the guy accused in five death makes a strange declaration in front of cameras "Get Jack Reacher", claiming himself innocent. The crystal clear case turns out to be a complicated chain of events, when Reacher, who saw the accused man's request, heads to the city in order to restore the justice. The movie is solely based on Lee Child's series of novels about the giant military professional Jack Reacher. In the Christopher McQuarrie's movie Jack is portrayed by Tom Cruise. Although Cruise is not as tall as Jack Reacher described in Lee Child's books, he manages the role in very persuasive way. Furthermore, Tom looks perfectly adequate for the role of Reacher, mostly because we are to accustomed to his previous roles as special agents or military professionals in the movies like Valkyrie, Knight and Day, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.

In a dark times of medieval China, when small feudal villages were faced the risk of plundering and burning to ashes by any band swindlers, a reckless blacksmith decides to defend his fellow villagers from attacking sons of gun. RZA, who is in charge of The Man with the Iron Fists, just for your interest – is a director, producer, writer and a leading role actor of the movie (like four in one), and of course he plays the Blacksmith, who is leading the villagers to the convincing and final victory of justice. The way he does it is an extraordinary one: he transforms the power of iron weapons, such as swords, spears and shields, in the power of living human body, his body, making him unbeatable. The authorship of this weird idea belongs to RZA (who may doubt?) and there are some rumors the nurtured this idea from 2005 year. Distributed by Universal Pictures, The Man with the Iron Fists despite its meager budget of $20 millions features quite a stellar cast: besides the abovementioned RZA, the movie starring: Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Jamie Chung, RZA, Dave Bautista, Pam Grier, Cung Le, Rick Yune, Osric Chau, Zhu Zhu, Chia Hui Liu, Daniel Wu, Celina Jade, Byron Mann, Dennis Chan (it's more likely that you know everyone from this list, may be exempt those who have Chinese surnames).
