Recently filmed an almost contemporary western "No Country for Old Men", the Coen brothers, this time decided to move us in the days of classic Wild West. But the "True Grit" is not the classic westerns in the truest sense of the word. It's more of a drama, filmed in the surroundings of the Wild West. This kind of road movie, about three strong-willed characters: the old "badass" Rooster Cogburn, a brave Mattie Ross and a Texas Ranger, LaBeouf. Each of them has not only the fortitude and an iron grip, but a good heart. The plot develops at a leisurely journey through the cold emptiness prairie, discloses the nature of each of the characters. Accompanied by a travel encounters with different characters and, of course, dialogue is not deprived of their share of humor and sarcasm. Coens masterfully turned to recreate the atmosphere and spirit of the era. The 2012 movie titled Act of Valor attempts to show how these real to life heroes go about doing their jobs through a series of real life events. xpect to see some combat footage that is as close to the real thing as possible as well as plenty of emotion and top quality adventure because a lot went into the making of this fine film. An Emmy winning movie, Broken Trail is an AMC original that stars Robert Duvall as Print Ritter; an 1890's cowboy and Thomas Hayden Church as his nephew Tom Harte. Print is tired of working for everyone else and just wants ranch of his own, so when he gets the shot to move 500 horses from Oregon to Wyoming, he figures this is his shot. He enlists the help of his nephew Tim, however, the journey does not go as planned. Along the way they encounter many dangers and people who need their help, but they never run. Together the two men rescue women from prostitution, take on thieves and native warriors in hopes of just reaching their destination for the big payout. Broken Trail movie shows that when you do the right thing, in the end, the payout is worth far more, the two men have a new lease on life and happiness.
