What begins as a once-in-a-lifetime mentorship curdles into a nightmare of escalating, ritualistic ordeals, with Julia Fox as Isaiah's influencer wife Elsie and Tim Heidecker among the supporting cast. Released in September 2025, Him drew a sharply divided response, opening strongly at the box office on the strength of Wayans's committed performance and its bold visual style even as critics split over its tonal swings and dense mythology. Made for a modest budget, it stood out as one of the year's most ambitious studio horror swings, extending Monkeypaw's project of turning genre filmmaking into cultural critique. The filming studio of Scream 4 says, "Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer."
