Antoine Fuqua's new movie Brooklyn's Finest represents lots of similarities with his own previous creations. This is quite understandable. It's pointless to deviate from things were used to achieve a fairly good success. And now, after 3 years after the last work there, meet Brooklyn's Finest. The film tells the stories of three very different policemen, exposing the problems of each of them, and then moving from the private narrative to a more mass perception.

Tragedy, much like misery, loves company. In Clint Eastwood's Hereafter movie, three intertwining stories of persons who have had close encounters with death and the dead are told in dramatic episodes. Matt Damon is George Lonegan, an American worker who can talk with the dead; while Cecile de France is Marie, a French TV journalist and one of the few tsunami survivors and there are brothers, Marcus and Jason (played by Frankie and George McLaren) who died from a car accident. At one dramatic point, these tragic stories converge.

He sees one last chance to take down the Soviet killer he'd been after most of his career. Teamed up with a young agent with the FBI Ben Geary (Topher Grace from Take Me Home Tonight, Predators) who has studied Shepherdson and his career for a Master Thesis and seems to know the man as well as anyone could. Martin Sheen (The West Wing, Apocalypse Now).artin Sheen is Tom Highland, CIA director and friend of Gere's Shepherdson who may be more involved than the movie displays in the beginning. Watch for Sheen's character to throw some surprised into the mix.
