All you need to know about the "Shutter Island" to watch it. It's a great movie that should you definitely watch, in the end all the answers will be given and the denouement will be unexpected. The traditional for Scorsese almost three-hour running time is a little bit discouraging. But you should trust: a mystery of the movie worth it. If the "Shutter Island" was a half hour shorter, it would be a cult masterpiece. He sees one last chance to take down the Soviet killer he'd been after most of his career. Teamed up with a young agent with the FBI Ben Geary (Topher Grace from Take Me Home Tonight, Predators) who has studied Shepherdson and his career for a Master Thesis and seems to know the man as well as anyone could. Martin Sheen (The West Wing, Apocalypse Now).artin Sheen is Tom Highland, CIA director and friend of Gere's Shepherdson who may be more involved than the movie displays in the beginning. Watch for Sheen's character to throw some surprised into the mix.

When the grizzly story winds up in the local newspapers Poe finds himself being questioned by local cops who wonder why a murderer is using the author's ideas to kill. When Fields discovers the murders mirror stories that have been showing up in the newspapers and are among a series of stories written by Poe, he is first suspicious of the writer but then finds another similar murder has happened even as the writer is held by police.ohn Cusack (Con Air, Pushing Tin) plays the part of Edgar Allen Poe in his last days, Police Inspector Emmett Fields is played by Luke Evans (The Three Musketeers, Immortals) who asks the famous Poe for his help in solving the murders and catching the killer before more are killed.
