Although TV Marti is known as the Official Web Channel for the Cuba Broadcasting Office its main content is of Latina music and films. The Cuban independent leader Jose Marti is behind the name TV Marti and is the TV equivalent to a Radio Marti which began to broadcast current affairs and news in late March of 1990. Sister networks to TV Marti include the VoA or Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Free Asia, and Radio Sawa. While most Cubans say they've never even heard of the channel it is available by streaming the signal to a computer or internet capable television in nearly every country in the world. While the Cuban government often blocks the transmission of TV Marti it is broadcast from a few Spanish language stations in Florida, enabling Cubans who reside in the U.S. to watch music, films, current events and newsworthy programming in their native language. Look for up to the minute news casts and current affairs related programming to download or stream onto a home computer.

When I'm not writing about movies and series, I spend most of my time traveling the world and catching my favorite West End shows. My life is also full of interesting books and I'm addicted to cooking. I believe that words can change the world, and I use them to inspire my readers.
